Well the silver lining is now both the coach and gm can be as terrible as they want and they will not be held to account.  Especially the coach.  Gase just got a total free pass his 1st year.

Silver lining for No-Account Gase.

Bad for everyone else, especially fans.

Anyone dismissing the severity of this(or the fact he shouldn't be playing) I suggest you read the article on NJ High School QB Evan Murray who played with undiagnosed mono and as a result suffered fatal injury because of his enlarged spleen.

Who is dismissing it?

Gase has gotten several passes in Miami and fell ass backward into another job where he gets another free pass of a year

maybe this is his great genius talent: Securing Expectation-Free Employment for Adam Gase

Sam played poorly against Buffalo.

Jets fans: NO HE DIDNT! THE BUFFALO DEFENSE IS AMAZING

Sam has mono.

Same Exact Jets fans: HEY MAYBE THIS IS WHY HE PLAYED POORLY AGAINST BUFFALO!

If you think about Sam having mono would pretty much make the Bills defense that much better. Basically 11 men and a virus on the field..hmmm, wonder how Pats haven’t thought of that yet?

So on to the bigger problem, we have a QB who seems to be trolling high schools in the New York area. Never heard of anyone outside of HS who had mono. Not saying it never happens but damn.

Kids in college get mono all the time.

He's 22 years old....it's perfectly fine for him to be hooking up with 21 year old college students.

I have never heard in the history of football a quarterback missing multiple games because of mono.

First, Mono will wipe your ass out...fatigue wise

Second, you can get splenic enlargement increasing the risk of splenic rupture day from a hit.

I have no doubt he wasn’t feeling well against BUF

A top tennis player, Robin Soderling, who beat Nadal at the French Open, was out for over a year and it ended his career. It can be very serious, so it's best to be safe than sorry. Tennis is obviously not as violent as football, but it is more physically grueling over the course of a year.
