That one we used to draft a player who was cut before opening day? So basically TB was traded for nothing. Actually the jets gave away a 6th rd pick too. I remember when I was against trading Bridgewater for a 3rd round pick given our history with drafting, let alone drafting players in the 3rd round. It does suck being a Jets fan. The trade itself was roughly what Teddy was worth, so it wasn’t a great ‘trade’ perse. The valuable thing was signing him in the first place, which I gather was largely of his own choosing and less a coup for a GM. NO gave up a lot because they wanted an experienced backup to cover them if Brees injured. Actually I like their no 3 QB Hill who is a hybrid in the role theoretically Tebow was supposed to have with us. Even if we drafted Hackenberg with that 3rd rounder the trade is still phenomenal; it would be the draft pick that is bad. It is mind blowing that this is how a person actually thinks.
