*****Official New York Jets vs Cleveland Browns Game Thread*****

Recommended Posts

We're the laughing stock of the league right now.

Prime time and they serve up this rotting pile of garbage.

If it were a fight, the ref would have called it off by now.

What a disaster of epic proportions.

GW needs to knock Gase and Loggains on their arses and take responsibility in the second half. If we're going to go down, we should go down swinging.

Surely we're setting records here. A combined four of seven for four yards passing in almost one half of football.

Call Kap - at least he can run around and make a play

There'll be media people saying that the Jets should do exactly that, notwithstanding the fact he hasn't played a down of football since 2016.

Already, some beat reporters are suggesting the Steelers should sign him to replace Roethlisberger, so just wait until Cimini et al start pushing Kaepernick to the Jets after tonight.

Robby Anderson ivisible 2 games

To be fair to him, it's not like anyone other than Bell has been able to do anything. If the offensive line isn't holding (and one wiped out a 16 yard pass to Robby), then they're turnstiles and letting the QB get injured.

We are going to win this game tonight.

I admire the optimism, but right now, I reckon the Browns could leave the stadium and the Jets could play until next Monday night and the Jets would still not win.

And then Edwards serves up a short punt. 35 seconds left, can the Browns get in field goal range at least?

So, the Patriots hung 43 points yesterday on the Dolphins in Miami. What will the line be for next Sunday? Patriots by 20?

A friendly reminder - Marcus Mariota and the Tennessee Titans scored 43 points against this defence in week 1. Mariota threw 14 of 24 for 248 yards and three touchdowns and Derrick Henry ran 19 times for 84 yards and a touchdown (as well as catching a 75 touchdown pass from Mariota).

The Tennessee Titans, who were predicted before the season to struggle.

There is no reason why Ty shouldn't be at the very least splitting time equally with Bell at this point..  Bell is still one of the better offensive weapons in the game and he's here a minimum of 2 years.  This is NOT the game to keep feeding him the ball.

It's pretty clear that the Jets could play for a fortnight and not put enough points on the board to overtake the Browns.

Gase should sit Bell and let Montgomery take the majority of the touches for the rest of the game. There's no point risking injury to the only player who is above average on offence.

If my maths add up, then Bell's 110 yards from scrimmage is 55% of the Jets' entire production on offence so far.

Roberts with the punch.  Gets it on his own.  Once again defense trying.  Hey what is Loggains doing.  Looks like a donut eater.  Why does this dude exist for this team.

Loggains has compromising photos of Gase.
