You said the same sh-t defending Mac while he continually struck out

Keep making your narrative up Philc...its what you are best at.

BTW, Joe's been on the job about three months and is finding players on the "please take for free table."

At your thinking we'll fire the next GM after Joe before he is even hired.

A 6th round pick is worthless in a trade.

worthless?  (Point To Brady, Tom) Ya because getting one of the greatest QBs in NFL history is worthless.   (I do believe he was a comp pick at that at 101?) So you can get stars in any round! no pick is worthless.. IMO

6th round picks are 95% of the time garbage and a non roster player. Who gives a sh*t? At least they're trying to get good in here. Mac would've tried to sell Bellamy as the answer.

So, you're saying there's a chance? Brady was a 6th and Edelman was a 7th. Wasn't Antonio Brown a 6th too? Marques Colston and some others. I get what you're saying though because the chances that the Jets choose a quality player at the end of the 6th is 0.0%

The Steelers drafted AB with the pick we traded to them

Anyone know what the conditions were on this deal?  Can the Jets get the pick back?

There is legit criticism of this deal by JD. All picks are of some value and should not be thrown away. The Kalil signing is just one year for cash, so if he continues to suck, so be it. But here JD gives up a pick for an oldish "hold the fort" guy at best.

JD's other deals involving picks may be better.  The CB he got for a 6th, whose name escapes me at the moment, looked decent Monday night and is much younger.

Keep making the players that overcame that draft position but let's not mention the 1000's of failed late round picks the last 15 years.

Keep minimizing this current regime’s ineptitude.  Belichick is literally owning the jets in his sleep

Heck, jets can't pick a quality player with the 3rd.pick in the draft.

the thing that makes it more frustrating is that they cut a guy like burnett and then got these guys like berrios, thomas and bellamy.  none of those guys made a play on monday.  at least burnett would've tried to make plays.  imo getting players who know particular systems is a little overblown.
