All picks are of some value and should not be thrown away. The Kalil signing is just one year for cash, so if he continues to suck, so be it. But here JD gives up a pick for an oldish "hold the fort" guy at best. JD's other deals involving picks may be better. And when he finally does, the guy will make zero impact above any other JAG. I don't know how a General Manager could watch his film the last two seasons and see anything worthwhile.
