How bad are the Jets going to get beat?

Recommended Posts

I consider myself to be a realist. Honestly, I haven't seen a Jets this BAD, well since.....LAST SEASON. lol Anything is possible, but I'm far from optimistic about tomorrow. For me, this should be a good measuring stick against the Dolphins. The patsies beat the Dolphins 43-0. If we lose 35-0 that should mean we'll be able to beat the lowly Dolphins? Anyway, for those of us not holding out any hope, this is your thread. How bad do you think we get beat tomorrow?

We lose 56-6

That's if Bellicheck wants to.  He may not want to kill the Jets this bad, so then it will be 47-6.

Either way, the score outcome will depend on what Belicheck wants it to be.

No. I actually hate them. However, until we get a decent management team we might be having a lot of threads like this.

Seriously? How many points have the jets put up in their 2 games? 19. How many points have the Patriots scored in their 2 games? 76. How many points have the Patriots given up in 2 games? 3.And somehow a 14 point spread seems fair to you. Really!

Belichick is pissed off about Antonio Brown and wants new questions at his next press conference.  One way to stop reporters from asking, "In hindsight did you guys make a big mistake bringing AB in for just one week only to cut him?" is to get those reporters asking, "Was it good sportsmanship to run up the score to 70 on the Jets this week?"

BB would gladly prefer the latter in terms of questions.

Seems fair, yeah.

What is this? your fourth post and you’re crying about someone else’s opinion? You’ll fit in just perfect.

Yeah really.

Because, really, the Dolphins are a power house that we're somehow shut down.

And the Jets D, sucks.

With Sammy & Herndon without our injuries & WITH them being down 3 lineman from where they were in preseason, this could have definitely been a game. Unfortunately this organization can never be in position to take advantage of these situations because WE ALWAYS seem to have our own issues. No Sam, no Herndon, 3 LBs injured, Quincy breaks his neck again (dumbest signing BY FAR), Tru benched, Our 1st round pick injured, 2 games & our line are all banged up.

I knew the Jets needed to come out strong this year because of this stretch of games, especially facing the Pats so early twice, so losing that 16 point lead & game was like an ice pick in the eye.

Betting against the spread could be a great payday though? Honestly, if the Jets can manage even one touchdown I'll be impressed. I figure if they win by anything less than 30, that's a very disappointing day. I think I'm going to bet for the patsies to cover the spread. I know how BAD this team is and it really is rock bottom.

It’s going to be ugly Hoping that the Patriots don’t cover the over by themselves.

So bad that after this the Jets will need a distraction.

Something to take the spotlight off the miserable start to the season.

Someone that can make the story about himself and take the heat instead of the team.

Antonio Brown is the answer.

Good luck with the 14 point spread. The numbers are likely correct, just transposed. As for fitting in forum  longevity obviously doesn't sharpen ones football IQ.

Browns won by 20 points. Jets scored 3. Patriots offense and defense is superior to every NFL team. But somehow at home against a horrible jets team the Patriots will win by just 14 points. Again I say Really!

41-0 patsies

41-3 only because the team upgraded from a high school kicker to a college kicker.

Sure.  We're gonna hold the Pats to 13 with our entire Week 1 starting LB corps injured, no secondary or pass rush.  Sure we are.

The only thing that scares me is Josh Gordon.

Thankfully he's on my fantasy team.
