RoadFan
You forgot he can actually create separation from a corner. (couldnt resist another crack at DMT) Seriously though, there really is not one iota of positive to bringing Antonio Brown into Florham Park. Another of my "workplace not video game" speeches coming... The team has been overrun with adversity the past few weeks. They need to focus all of their energy on battling through it, and making adjustments to their individual games and the offense as a whole. Brown's talent, as great as it is, does not supersede the importance of purpose and unity right now. Brown disrupts that. Pittsburgh knew it. Oakland knew it. New England knew it. And now you want to bring him to the Jets? Sorry, bro. Bad idea. 2

We have suspended players on the roster pretty much every year. 2-3 year deal that gives us an easy out if he's out long term or we can't handle him. ride out the storm and then you've got a big time WR in exchange for one of the back of the roster players who probably won't see the field anyway (Powell?). 1
Bugg
He has 3 of his team jerseys in the closeout rack of Modells at the same time. What makes anyone think he'll suddenly straighten up and fly right? Simply the guy has mental health issues. All he had to do was keep his mouth shut in Raiders camp until Labor Day and he vested a $50 million guaranteed contract. He could not do that. He could not keep from posting nonsense on his phone for 2 weeks with the Pats. He could not tolerate a coach in Mike Tomlin who until last year was very decent to him. It won't get better until he gets his issues dealt with. 1

joewilly12
NFL teams’ interest in Antonio Brown comes with caveat By Joseph Staszewski September 21, 2019 | 10:34pm Antonio Brown isn’t giving up on an playing again this season — he just may have to wait. The wide receiver’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told ESPN he has had communications with “a few teams that are interested” in Brown, who was cut by the Patriots on Friday after he was accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women and threatening texts he allegedly sent to one of the accusers came to light. Rosenhaus added that the teams wanted information regarding Brown’s “legal situation and the NFL investigation.” The report also stated that while there are interested teams, a deal for the free-agent receiver is unlikely happen until the NFL’s investigation comes to a conclusion, according to sources. Brown has denied all of the allegations The threatening messages finally pushed Patriots owner Robert Kraft to cut ties with Brown, who played just one game for his team. In the texts, Brown allegedly accuses the woman of trying to extort money from him. “Let’s lok[sic] up her background history see how broke this girl is,” Brown allegedly texted the unnamed accuser Wednesday night, after she publicly said he fired her from a painting job at his home after she rejected his sexual advances. Brown has already been a member of three teams over the past two seasons. He was traded by the Steelers to the Raiders, who cut him after a circus-like preseason that included him getting into a heated confrontation with Oakland general manager Mike Mayock. Brown demanded to be released by the Raiders after fines voided the guaranteed money in his contract.

Well, for the team, they may have to pay him to sit on the commissioner’s list all season. He doesn’t play and is still a distraction to the team and a pr hit. To fans like you, you might not care about those things. But to the people in the building, living it, its just another annoyance, and for little to no benefit.
