The narrative that Gase can be excused due to back up QBs has been crushed this week..

We’re down two QBs.

I would imagine the next guy up for ANY of those teams would be functional.

I have to admit, I'm surprised.

Gardner Minshaw - 204 yards, 2 tds - WIN

Jacoby Brissett - 310 yards, 2 tds - WIN

Kyle Allen - 261 yards, 4 tds - WIN

Mason Rudolph - 174 yards, 2tds - almost win but not quite

Daniel Jones - 336 yards, 2tds and 2 tds rushing, WIN

Teddy Bridgewater - 177 yards, 2 tds - WIN

Yeah, the fact we are down a QB is no excuse for the pathetic display in this league when almost everything favours offense.

You think Falk is as good as any of those guys?

Agree.

But Gase's problem is that he has a 3rd string QB surrounded by a bottom 5 NFL roster

Gase will almost assuredly get a free pass on 2019.  He'll likely get three full seasons no matter how bad he is.  And he'll make millions doing it regardless of results.

So it seems it's more our problem than Gase's.

I do actually... Those guys can throw the ball further than 10 yards.

It should be noted that no one has ever seen the terms of Gase’s contract. It’s not impossible it’s a 3 year deal with copious amounts of room for him to bail if a job comes open that he actually wants

Just stop.  How did Simien look in Gase's  offense in the first half against Cleveland??  So you think he would be lighting it up right now.  Darnold wouldn't even be putting up these numbers these backup QBs are putting up in Gase's offensive.  Dink and dunk GARBAGE!!!

No, I think Trevor Simien sucks.

When Gase had everyone but his starting TE in the first game, he only scored 8 points.  Seems like there is always an excuse for him even while he was in Miami.

Errr mono.

But let’s forget that.

I am sure the NFL is knocking down his door tonight.

1) The Giants are playing their second QB, not their third.

2) The Giants played in Tampa Bay, today. We played in Foxboro.

If you wanted to give Gase literally any of those QBs to start today, I’m sure Adam Gase would have taken them.

All back-up QBs are created equal, I read it on JN.

The oline has been non-functional since Khalil has been at C. The offense looked pretty decent when Harrison was at center all through preseason. Get a functional oline first and foremost.

 Nope. Not allowed.

The NFL isn’t knocking down any coach’s door who’s currently unemployed. That’s why they’re unemployed.

Brissett might do better here, the rest of those guys would get crushed playing behind this suporting cast.

Not thrilled with Gase either, but the issue is personnel.

Totally agree. The entire offense is a steaming dog pooh dumpster fire- top to bottom. I actually do think Sam ( if he comes back )will definitely make it look better- if he doesn’t get killed behind that line. Still what we’re witnessing has more to do with schematics than execution. A supposed “ offensive “ guy should be able  to mask some of the rosters warts and at least put a watchable team on the field.

so far as I can see- Gases success was all about Peyton Manning.
