But now we can't protect him. 0-3. Conversely look at how the Cowboys built their team during the same period. Built their Oline then drafted Zeke & Dak. Plus on defense concentrated on Edge, CB (Lawrence + Jones) than drafted a couple stud LB (Venderesh), 3-0. So imagine these guys drafted Olineman? They might have won enough games to have Mahomes staring them in the face picking somewhere around #11 in 2017 & been FORCED to take a chance on him, you know VALUE & ALL.
