I don't recall the origin of the bet. But from the PM's with @Losmeister: Quote I'll do $50 to a charity for the Browns making the playoffs in 2019. OR, if you're willing to be patient, I'll do $100 for winning a playoff game in 2020. We agreed to do both, so I may owe $100 to charity next year too, lol. Popular Post JiFtheOracle
I've probably distanced myself from the NFL more this season than any other in the last 30 years but I will say this about 2019, there have been some very gratifying events this season: 1 - Bakery Mayflower showing his true colors and choking on a mouthful of humble pie and a quote by Rex Ryan making for the longest thread on the board. 2 - The Jags imploding again after another bush league move vs. the Jets 3 - Lamar Jackson shoving it in the face of everyone who said he should become a WR. 4 - Daniel Jones shutting everyone the F up, including that loser Bakery Mayflower. 5 - is my most favorite, Sammy D coming back with a vengeance from mono and leading this ragtag team of garbage to a .500 record and improving his game along the way. Now, if only Tom Brady could get knocked into retirement, I might be all the way back in by next season.

jetspenguin
Lol we finished with more wins despite them being a playoff and in some eyes Superbowl pick..... this moment right here .....is..... fantastic Sent from the Suicide Watch desk. 1 1
slimjasi
I still think Baker can play, but this was about as bad of a 2nd year as he could have had given the expectations. The guy completed 44% of his passes today. Maybe some humble pie is what he needs.
Beerfish
Three more pics. The Browns need to hire a real offensive genius like Gase. We will grudgingly give him up for a couple of draft picks.

I can understand this, especially when we've had just 1 playoff season this decade and just 2 winning seasons. while watching two AFCE teams clinch playoff position. Nothing else really to do. I cant even hate on that. We have to find pretty much anything to make sense of even rooting for the Jets.

I agree. It was a shot in the dark and it missed. Not alot of people can say that they went from RB coach to OC to HC in a span of 8 months. I thought that it could work with Kitchens, but I see that he's not good enough to man the ship. It's not even the losses, I've seen the Browns have some of the worst game management ever this season. Baker needs a guy who can provide an offense that fits him, but also can manage a game. And IDK where the hell Mayfield's accuracy went but it wasnt around this season. He's been a liability all season especially under any sort of pressure. I think both Baker and Sam will have big years in their third season. I admit I’m not a Baker fan and I admit I’m not sad that he had a bad 2nd season but he does have talent and the Browns have talent around him so they gotta figure a way to make it work

Its one thing to tread water in terms of going from one season to the next, however, Mayfield looks like he sank way down in performance. Looking at his passes today it wasnt even the decision making, it was his accuracy. He needs to figure that out.
