ryu79
Trust in Sam. Either draft the LT if he is as good as everyone says or draft Jeudy.
CanadaSteve
I will say it again, and stand by the comment: If we have a top two pick this year, that will mean since 2015, we will have picked in the top ten 5 out of 6 years, twice in the top 3. That means, this roster is BAD. When you are bad for over a decade now, nobody should be safe. IF someone wants to hand you 4 first round picks for Sam Darnold, you LISTEN. I cannot emphasis the word LISTEN enough. You don't have to take it, but you listen to what they say. Picking number two, you are guaranteed one of the top two QB's this year. You reset the rookie contract on the most important position, and have multiple first round picks to rebuild. When you have sucked for this long, you have to listen to every possible scenario, and then pick which course you think will get you back to the playoffs the fastest. That said, I do not think that is what will happen. In your scenario, I would trade with either Cincinnati, Denver, Indy, Tampa....teams that will probably want to take a QB prospect. I would imagine you could get multiple firsts for that pick, and depending on how far down the board you move, Andrew Thomas, Tristan Wirfs, Trey Smith could all be in play with your pick. Depending on how far that slide down the board is, guys like Calvin Throckmorton, Mekhi Becton, Trey Adams, Daryl Williams all could be considered in late first. It isn't sexy, but what Mangini and Tannebaum did in one of our last good drafts was use two first round picks on the OL. All they did was anchor said line for a decade. Perhaps that would be a GREAT philosophy to adopt again, and stop picking defensive lineman. If we are talking IDEAL situation, we pick ahead of Miami. They have 2 first round picks this year because of the Laremy Tunsil trade. We could perhaps get both of those picks AND lower picks the following year. Do that and you could draft Andrew Thomas and still get another solid player depending on where Houston finishes up.
SR24
Andrew Thomas, Chase Young Or Jerry Juedy.
CurtMart
Trevor? Eww. Isn’t there a DT we could draft for a change and pound our chest finding the best player in the draft? Or maybe a safety? This is the NYFJ. We haven’t had an edge rusher since John Freaking Abraham and it’s been a top priority every single freaking year. Yet, we got spooked after Gholston. Or how about a WR? I mean all those home runs we’ve been hitting in round 2 haven’t really planned out. Maybe try em in round 1? Just a thought, Jets.

greenwichjetfan
I don't think anyone's giving up a top two pick for Trevor Simien now that he's coming off of a broken ankle.
