You mean they left that stud Vedvik as a FA? Wow

<S>

Actually they asked him to come in, but he turned them down because he wants to focus only on punting and Kickoffs.

He spurned the Pats before the Pats could Spurn him. haha

The Nuge!

I'm actually happy for him.  He's a good guy and he'll really appreciate his Super Bowl ring after all these years in the league.

I liked Nugent as well. I thought the Jets were gonna pick him up.

There were solid professionals like this out there while we were messing around w/ scrubs like bertolet and vedvek.  And it cost us a game.

Incompetence at its best.

This is why JD has to be called out and questioned.

He will have to make far more important decisions here.

I recall him as fairly accurate but not a very strong leg on kickoffs.  Is that correct?

Nuge was just mediocre.  What sucked was Bradway essentially traded a first round pick for him and Doug Jolley who was the Chris Hackenberg of tight ends

They’ve also just signed Doug Jolley to replace Gronk and Justin Miller to return kicks. #fullcircle

As per wikipedia, Doug Jolley is currently a Math teacher in Fort Worth.

Justin Miller opened a gym in Atlanta.

They are both ready!

Do you know how many geniuses here, back in August, suggested the Jets bring in Mike Nugent? Exactly ZERO. A couple were made in jest.

The ability of this board to second guess, without any real ideas is unique.
