Is there any chance the Jets can field a competent offense this week?

Jokes aside, the Eagles probably have the most pedestrian defense we’ve faced. I don’t expect a one possession game but this shouldn’t be a 30-3 blowout. Not to say it won’t be.

In Philly, raucous crowd, Eagles will score at will and we'll be lucky to get a first down.  45-0 Eagles.

Beat the Gators.

Lol yes sadly I do know this. Do you know how many Florida Qbs ever won a Superbowl? Or was a 4 time NFL MVP, or lead the league in TD passes ?? 0. Florida's best QBs all busted in the big leagues. Spurrier, Wuerffel, Mathews, and Tebow were all complete busts.

the last time the Jets hired an offensive coach his name was Rich Kotite

Adam Gase is so bad at his job, he's in the Kotite conversation.

Just fire him already and let Gregg Williams be the interim

GW can't sleep in his own office exclusively, he needs Gase's too for a hotplate

I was fooled by reading too deep into the situation and thinking that since Gase only personally played football at the high school level, for him to make it to the NFL and have all these accolades thrown at him by Nick Saban and Manning....the guy must be some kind of genius to have gotten as far as he has in the NFL...logically it’s the only thing that made sense to me.  Again, the guy never played ball higher than high school...how could he get to the NFL?

I’m willing to want to see more of his coaching but running things over and over worse than any Bowles led team was really discouraging and I realize he was on his 3rd string QB and the OL is garbage.

Another free pass for Gase by some of the fan base.

If however Falk looked competent then the same people absolving gase for any responsibility for bad offense will heap praise on him  for getting blood out of a stone.

You mean those who recognize that any coach who's team is down to their 3rd string, project QB's offense will struggle badly?

Or the minority that can't see the team for what it is and just, well, whine.

Gase is not creative

Yeah a sieve OL, no WR to speak of, no TE worth a damn and it's the HC not being creative?

The simple answer?  Force the inexperienced 3rd string, practice squad QB do things he's not comfortable or capable of doing?

Who knows, maybe with the extra time they can get him comfortable rolling out.

So after seeing Gase with one game led by a sick QB and 2 with a 3rd string project  QB you've decided he can't coach and needs to be fired.  Because in your mind someone would have won with this team as it stands?

More proof that fans couldn't run a team under any circumstance.

Kotite, were you alive to watch those teams?  I doubt it if you compare anyone to Kotite.

Gase had the bye week to make adjustments. There looks to be OL changes in the works. The Philly defense is at best mediocre. Can Falk game manage his way to a few scores and keep this game competitive?

NO!!!!!!!!

This is the worst pass defense in the league we are facing.  They need to air it out I don't care if he's a 3rd string QB or not.

That’s what a competent coaching staff would do

Jets should be in shotgun 4 and 5 wide the entire game our OL gets zero push up front for Gase to run a conventional offense

Meanwhile Kyle Allen on the panthers with a not good supporting cast is 2-0

The excuse making for Gase is nauseating

If you don't think there's a better supporting cast with the Panthers you're blond.

And he's not a 3rd string player off the practice squad who was a just a project, playing the Browns and Pats.
