why, faulk wasn't going to beat the eagles regardless if he had 4 weeks to prepare for it. The only shot the jets were going to be competitive was if Darnold started so it made 100% perfect sense to give him the reps.

This is crap, a media troll narrative. 

This game is meaningless.  Darnold should be getting the reps.  He is what is important.  Not this stupid game they were gonna lose anyway whether Falk had the reps or not.  If Falk plays, they lose... period.

Gase was preparing Darnold to play.  Now he is a little more ready for next week.

How is that offensive series on Gase? People called for varied playing calling. He calls a screen on the first play, Falk miss fires. He empties the back field, Falk hits Bell (good). Then he calls another pass and Falk floats a duck down to Robby (surprised this wasn't a pick 6). Then he calls a screen pass after seeing the OL cant get any push and Falk throws a pick 6.

I honestly feel like the play call was the awful part. Play action with one read in the flats to the outside? The play before they had one on one with no safety help and ran it up the gut.
