JetFaninMI
Why even bother? The DN is a sinking ship and Manish is still pissed his boy Macc was fired. Sorry Manish no PR or Media relations job for you when the DN folds. There's always a podcast that needs a never was like you to talk your nonsense on the state of the Jets. Thank God we won't have to listen to it anymore.

ScarletKnight89
Yeah he's been working hard on this for a while now. It's funny because he loved the Gase hire when it was made. He must have thought if he sucked up to him that he would give him information. I guess that's clearly not happening so Manish is on the attack.

rangerous
maneesh is just a little creep. this is his game and has been for his whole career. he builds them up just to knock them down. if he likes the coach it's the players and vice versa.

Jet Nut
Wait Shanahan was able to call more creative plays with Garafallo and the rest of those 49r players than Gase could with Falk and the Jets? I'm shocked. Anyone with half a brain could see the reasons why. 3

ASH1962
Lynch has built a complete team around Jimmy G. Last night it was the D and running game that beat up the Browns, were any of you watching? The QB was pedestrian at best. That defense is no joke either. I agree the QB makes a huge difference, but in our case, it won't because we have nothing in front of him to protect and help the running game. Also have no receivers worth a $hit tbh. Also, what has happened to Ty Montgomery? He was used so much and did so well in the PS but has done zilch in the RS as has the rest of this team.

They could move the ball and scheme players open for there 3rd string qb. 49ers could actually score points, and kept games close. unlike Gase and the Jets.
maury77
I went in on Manish for the same tweet. He is obsessed with Gase since the latter was mean to the former during a PC earlier this year. Manish is acting like Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction. 1
Scoop24
I don’t even care no more. the entire FO deserves to be bashed. I’m not even sure this is a personnel thing more than coaching but both are bad right now. Which Bad team did the Jets face over the last 2 weeks? Also... 49ers had Garapolo go down for the whole year... not 3-4 games.. different planning is required... Siemian injury hurt bad because they thought they had at least a functional Back-up... 49ers went and started grabbing QBs all over to find something and still only won 4 games... Look the Offense looks terrible. It was functional last year with Darnold. I believe they will look better then last year once they get going if and when they get Darnold back.
Beerfish
Manish's tweets were 100% correct. I hate to say it but in this case he is totally correct. It doesn;t take long to see if a coach knows what he is doing or not or if he has a solid game plan or if he can use the tools he has and Gase has been an epic failure in those areas. Remove things out of his control and see what remains and it is poor. The one and only imaginative play that worked this year was the play to vyncent smith. Other than that it all looks like a game plan from bantam football. It's too bad too because we do have a franchise Qb in Darnold imo but we are totally stuck with a sorry coach for at least two more years minimum. 1 1

Look at all those things because that is what you are going to get no matter who is playing. Tell me that the NY Jets look like a soundly coached team that is just over matched after 4 games. I sure as hell don;t see it.

So they try to replace the under-performers and they too are making mistakes.. Darnold hides the problems up front... then you can judge. I think that the personnel is that bad... Its obvious... I also feel that it will get fixed.

Sonny Werblin
I’m no football genius but i have coached junior football for a while and the QB matters more than amy other position even at that level. One year we had a not too athletic pip squeak of a kid, but he knew the playbook and could run all the plays (so long as they didn’t require a 20 yard pass). With that kid behind a good o line the O worked. Early on we kept trying to switch to bigger and better athletes at QB but they couldn’t run the Offense. if it made that much of a difference in junior football, it’s no wonder most teams Os drop off so much when the starter is hurt.
