And that sucks, because the energy...the noise...the home field advantage that can be created by loud, intense fans can be huge in the playoffs. It's something that should be admired or even envied by other fan bases, but when you disrespect the game, cheer injuries, throw crap on the field, etc. it's just classless and ugly IMO. The coolest thing I think I saw this year was Game 1 in the NLCS when Annibel Sanchez was no-hitting the Cardinals through something like 7 or 8 innings. When he finally gave up a hit and was removed from the game the St. Louis fans actually stood up and clapped for his performance. St. Louis is a phenomenal baseball city.....probably one of the best in MLB in my opinion.

Cashman being an Idiot for the past 3 years is what hurt them. Houston had no problem going out and securing deals with Verlander, Cole and Grienke . What exactly did Cashman do ? Nothing. As a matter of fact he said we were fine with our pitching staff as it was. We have one clutch post season pitcher and that's Tanaka . Cole is a FA and Cashman better break the damn bank unless he wants the same scenario next year.

pdxgreen
Don't follow baseball anymore. But I always thought that the Yankees' Gene Michael was one of the most underrated executives in the history of the game. The guy could evaluate talent like few scouts before or since. Anyway, back to football.

He consistently neglects the starting rotation and tells us every offseason how the bullpen and lineup are so great. And then he prospect hugs on the trade market. Guy is clueless.
