It's amazing...ly bad

Why do the Jets always play like they're Monmouth State going against Alabama??

It's amazing that they could be so big, so dumb, and so unable to get even A LITTLE PUSH at the LoS...

I actually feel bad for Sam and Lev. They are the only guys showing up and putting effort in and you can see it in their faces.

THis is Sam "showing up"???!!

Quite possibly the most homerific statement I have ever heard...

To be fair.....I said that prior to the second INT.

In the next 5 minutes, I changed my mind.

by the time I posted it, he threw the endzone pick.

"seeing ghosts..."

No, son, those are real defensive players!!

I was at my chiropractor today and he literally said, "Darnold doesn't have it, neither arm nor brain..."

And I was angry because I think he has both, but he definitely has, so far, played like utter garbage.

You know, the OL isn't helping, but, wow, they are utter crap!!

NOT a professional team...

He's playing fine.  He's still a very young QB and he's going against a great Pats defense.

fine? sorry, I can't agree. To me, he's played no better than the 3rd stringer..

0 points against the Steel Curtain is still ZERO points.

Not defending the line.  Worst in the league bad.  But Darnold has had spots, and missed badly.  A top tier QB and we're in this game.  Probably not winning, but headed into the half with a chance to turn it around.

Totally agree. He's was way too amped.

And, wow, if you look at this line, they get ZERO push off the line of scrimmage!!

But you can't have it both ways: these Darnold guys were all about how great he is. Now that we see how important an OL actually is, they are so quick to give him a pass.

That's why I'd much rather have an actual TEAM rather than some 'Franchise' QB and no franchise around him.

Third stringer, or third grade?  That last interception was pathetic, but he IS better than this.

How insane is it that the OL needs a QB to call out protections? This OL is so unphysical, they couldn't move a coffee table, much less an actual defensive player.

The weakest OL is football!!

Weird.

I gave a Pat's fan an Uber ride yesterday and he said virtually the same thing.

I was angry too, so I gave him a 1 star rider rating.

He is better than this, but his OL is not.

I'm not excusing him because he has sucked balls tonight. But he has the talent and, I believe, eventually the smarts to compete with a 44-year old Tom Brady LOL

Agreed. I didnt have too high of expectations for this year so I'm not surprised.

I'm fine with him coming in to his own in 2 years or so. Hell, he would be the same age of most the QBs being drafted in 2 years.

I just think the Jets paid too much because, in the end, you need the team around any QB to be contenders. And, really, you just need a great season out of a QB.

They will never win, Darnold or whoever under center, before they have an OL. Right now, nobody on that OL is getting any blocking on the second level and their pass blocking acumen seems abysmal.

It's as if there's a force field around Brady...and most other NFL QBs the Jets play...

To be fair, Richard Todd had 5 interceptions against the Dolphins in the 1982 AFC Championship game.

These announcers are worse than how the Jets are playing. This has to be the most boring MNF game ever. Where’s the guy with the finger when you need him.

now you're blaming the announcers?!

Sammy Davis Jr. couldn't make this interesting...

and David Woodly had 4 that game

Didn't know that...

I was newly enlisted in the Army, we were in the field. My good buddy, a Dolphins fan, had a little TV and told me about the 5 INTs...

the worst OL in football.

Can't win with that.

Can't look like a team with that.

Shouldn't be on Monday Night Football with that.

I have to agree that complaining about running up scores is kinda lame.

when you stop playing the way you play, you hurt your football team. Belicheck wouldn't be a HOF coach taking it easy on opponents.
