Mike135
I don't think we'll get blown out. But accepting that premise, no I don't think so. The Johnsons don't seem like (over) reactionary folks to me. Fans will do it regularly. But not billionaire business guys. 5

I tend to agree, unless we are 1-15ish bad. In that case, the media pressure might be too great for Gase to survive. And, if we ever get anywhere close to 7 wins, the moral victory talk will be off the charts.

Barkus
No, Gase will be back next year unless jets go 1-15, then they will have no choice but to fire him. Remember they are still paying Bowles too.

SOJ
IF we lose, no. If we get embarrassed and Sams plays the way he did Monday. Maybe. If we win but the team doesn't improve week in and week out I say he gets fired year end. I say this in spite of the fact that they are paying TB because public opinion will force the Johnson's hand. Barry McCockinner
Can anyone speak to the competency of Todd Wash (Jax DC)? I suspect if he's competent Sam will be devoured by free rushers all game, again.

WRs should get free and should get YAC since there isn’t a S. OL needs to buy some time, WRs need to get open

Popular Post BurnleyJet
It’s when the fans turn, the Johnson’s sh*t out. They are cowards at heart, and when the heat comes they fold like a lawn chair. I just think Douglas makes some trades by Tuesday, and old crazy eyes isn’t stopping him. Personally I think Gase is clueless, offensive genius my ass! 3
Joe W. Namath
Gase is here for the rest of this year and 3 more years after that at minimum. He hired his best friend as his boss. You dont fire your best friend. So unless you believe the Johnsons are going to fire a gm that just got a 6 year deal anytime soon, gase is going nowhere.

ChuckkieB
I don't care what his contract is, if the Jets get blown out by the Jags, Gase will be officially on the hot seat, if he isn't already. It's one thing to lose a lot of games with a bad team, but to be non-competitive is unforgivable, and a few more games like that will definitely get Gase fired. Wealthy, egotistical owners don't like to be embarrassed, and right now, Gase is embarrassing this franchise. 1
