Josh Gordon should be targetted

Recommended Posts

Absolutely and you write a contract that is incentive laden and that if suspended again for any reason the contract is null and void.

Josh Gordon healthy and head on right is a top NFL WR.

Technically the end is false.  Josh Gordon is an animal when stoned, and drunk.  Just going of stats from playing high and drunk VS playing Sober.

Josh Gordon 20-287 1 TD this season with NE not sure how many games he's played and missed.

He is good for a possession over the middle guy but he runs bad, lazy routes which is why he struggled so much in New England... It is well known that Brady hates freelance WRs

You can bet the mortgage that within three days of being waived, it will be announced that Josh Gordon is getting suspended for something. No way the scumbag Pats are letting him walk for no reason

They definitely found out Gordon was using drugs again

The trade for Sanu was the tell

Don’t agree.  He still runs routes pretty well.  The problem is he’s lost his legs a bit.  This has been the case since his return to Cleveland, where his explosiveness took a hit after his extended departure and he was never quite the same.

He still has a great catch radius, but he’s not the same guy that was blowing by every db on go routes.

This means very little separation, which is probably not great for a young qb.

He’s basically DT at this point, with just the upside that he is still young and could in principle get some legs back with the right training.

Gordon is a troubled man. He needs a team with a solid support structure and vets around him. That ain’t the Jets.

Gordon can still play.  His stats would be better but Brady actually missed him wide open getting behind the Washington secondary a couple weeks ago and he got injured early in the giant game

Unfortunately I drafted this clown in fantasy so I followed him

There’s a reason they’re letting him go. If you’re going to sign Gordon just sign Brown instead.

Sign both. **** it why not. It’d be my only entertainment for the rest of the year, on and off the field

Or sign neither and just watch the Jets play. It’s like watching Tommy Morrison fight, someone is getting knockout out.

You know who loves a good freelance receiver?  Sam Darnold that’s who.

The Pats have wanted Sanu for a while now. It definitely could be that they went for the receiver with the ability they value most - availability.

He has done nothing for the Pats in the little time he has played. Why would you want him?

And if AB didnt want to play for the raiders making 40 mill, why would he want to come to the jets now?

NE is WR poor right now and they are letting this guy go. I think the guy is a zero if NE waiving him at this time.

They just signed Sanu, Gronkowski will return for the playoffs this is the 19-0 team. Then Brady leaves.

What could it possibly hurt..  unless this greatest show on turf the jets got going on is satisfactory to you.

Yeah this management-by-reacting to whatever the Pats do or don't do vibe from some of the fans is just miserable. And it's certainly no way to manage an NFL franchise. If you're so worried about the Pat's, do you think the Pats are ever worried about what another team is doing?

hmmm.....a player with horrible history of personal meltdowns coming to a team that has a history of total and complete anarchy?

Can't see where this would be horrible.

Receiver is waaaay down the list on what needs to be improved on this team.  And Gordon is washed up so there is no sense in signing him.  We have filled up our quota of washed up receivers with Demaryius thomas.

No reason not to bring him in although if/when we win at J-Ville that might take us out of the running.  Keep him for the year and sign him to a contract that allows for an out if he's suspended again.

Just stop.
