Popular Post peekskill68
If you equate the Mets farm system with the Jets scouting and drafting as similar paths to acquire talent, there is no comparison: the Mets are far better. Just on the back of DeGrom and Alonso alone, the Jets haven't drafted anything close to that level of talent since Revis... 14 2

Popular Post Ken Schroy
Jets are worse. The Mets are trending upward. They have some terrific young talent that is already proven. These players are for real: DeGrom, McNeil, Conforto, Alonso, Rosario, Davis. The Jets are hoping for Sam, as am I. Adams is a player, but after that, it's downhill FAST.

jetscrazey
At least the Johnsons defer to their GM (however crappy the GM may be) Jeff Wilpon literally thinks he can run the front office of a baseball team, micromanaging his GM. That's why no real GM wanted to work for him and he had to hire an agent to be his GM.
UnitedWhofans
Mets because at least the Johnsons try to spend money and win. They just dont know how to do it. The Wilpons are cheap 2 1

JustInFudge
All I know is that I've grown up with the Mets and Jets as my favorite professional sports teams and I've watched 1 of them play in the championship game for their respective sport, 3 times and won it all once. 2

So I would say the Mets are better.

JetsYanks13
They are both ran very poorly starting with ownership, however, the Mets have been in 2 World Series this century and the Jets have not been in one since 69. It’s so Mets/Jets to be presented with exactly similar situations: You have a HC opening and a clear cut qualified, championship winning candidate who wants to lead your franchise and you think your smarter than everyone and decide not to hire him! Stupid is as stupid does! Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app 1
FidelioJet
They've won a WS and been to two others since the Wilpons owned the team. The two aren't even close. Its also possible that he won’t resign with the Jets for $100Mill a year once his contract has run. Then again by then the Jets will need to fill about 45 slots on their roster with NFL players, down from 47, so we most likely will NEVER know how good Sam Darnold could have been. Hey, Look, I just saw a report the Jets might trade his ONLY WR target Robby Anderson...excellent, make Darnold’s almost “mission impossible” job even more impossible...No OL and No Receivers hahaha. 14 in Green
It's not even close. I get the MLB Season Pass every year and try to watch as many Mets games as I can. I was happy with their season this year, and if Diaz and Familia were even mediocre, we might still be playing. Lots of young, likeable players on the team. I look forward to next season already. If I had to watch the Jets 5 times a week my life would be miserable.
LockeJET
If you told me right now that the Jets just traded Leonard Williams and Robby Anderson to the mets for a bullpen arm I would say Jets got the better end if the deal. So the Mets are in better shape. 1

RevisIsland610
The Mets are run by Satan himself AKA Jeff Wilpon but they have more talent and have had more success than the Jets. I have seen them go to 5 World Series and win 2 in the last 50 years. The Jets and Knicks are 2 of the worst run organizations in all of sports.
