Who was most vocal ant-Gase person here?

When you don't let the General Manager hire the Head Coach it becomes harder to point the blame at one person. The Jets should fire Gase and let Douglas pick HIS HEAD COACH. Then it's on those two to fix things.

The Jets love trying to force partnerships. Rex and Idzik, Macc and Bowles, than Macc and Gase for a little while, and now Gase and JD.

Why not just let the General Manager control the roster and pick his Head Coach? I think it's time to go back to that way.

Who cares who was most vocal? I didn't want the guy because it never ends well when a guy is fired and goes right to another team. Especially in the same division. Rex comes to mind.

The thing is Gase is here for the foreseeable future. No way the Jets fire him and have to pay him and Bowles. No way. I don't even think they fire him if he goes 1-15.  Gase is here. Deal with it.

CJ: Okay joe as owner of the team i have fired Adam Gase as head coach, who do you want to hire?

Douglas:  I want to hire my buddy Adam Gase!

Some teams will always suck. Jets, browns, dolphins, Bengals

Worst team in each conference each year should only get 75% of their tv revenue share. That’ll stop all this nonsense of owners managing to the bottom line rather than for success

It's tough to deal with it when in my mind the guy is fing up the one decent Qb this prospect this team has had in years.

I agree with you he is here at least all of next year maybe longer no matter what but it's going to be painful seeing he was a recent hire.

Bottom four should be relegated to the CFL each year.  Half of the jets draft picks are playing there anyways these days,

I agree but it is what it is. Not saying you are but crying about isn't going to change it. Some guys are going off the deep end when it comes to Gase being fired. The guy is going nowhere for some time. It's time we all faced it. You don't have to like it by any means but the Fire Gase threads are getting monotonous.

Agreed.  Puppet joe is never firing him.

Now, if they lose to the dolphins, maybe chris johnson steps in and forcing joes hand.  But left up to puppet joe, gase is here for 3 more years.

You know if Douglas gets 2 picks for Robbie that puppet thing is going to blow up in your face right?

You can really blame socialism for all of this

I wanted Mike McCarthy, but then I talked myself into liking Adam Gase. The Jets are a disaster now and it's downright embarrassing. I'm blown away by the fact this franchise got worse in a year. We're so bad this year even the JET Clown, who once said, "I think we could go 6-10, not too shabby," would be wrong.

Nobody “wanted” Gase. He came in late out of left field after the Browns passed on him and Manning made an eleventh-hour phone call. The alternative was Matt Rhule, whom Maccagnan tried to bully, and McCarthy, who was worthless when Rodgers missed a game. Both options would have ensured the continued employment of Mike Maccagnan as Jets GM, which was obviously the worst case scenario. If Gase doesn’t win another game, it was a good hire simply because he saved us from another three years of Maccagnan. Keep your eyes on the prize, dummies.
