bitonti
Q was named "runner up" at DT (behind Dexter Lawrence) Chuma Edoga honorable mention at OT Blake Cashman honorable mention at LB Quote https://theathletic.com/1332482/2019/10/30/the-nfl-all-rookie-team-midway-through-the-2019-season/ Runner-up: Quinnen Williams, New York Jets (1st round, No. 3 overall) After injuries sidelined him for the start of the season, Williams has been playing catch up and getting better each week. He recorded his first sack on Sunday and his high ceiling is part of the reason why the Jets felt comfortable trading Leonard Williams to the highest bidder. I don't think blindly looking at stats is a great way to evaluate DT's. That said, outside of a few flashes I don't think he's been impressive. I don't re-watch the games though.

Ha. They weren't watching when he was playing next to Sheldon and Mo and was still a non factor. Just sign him to that extension already Gettleman..

IndianaJet
Seems like if a rookie has received any meaningful playing time he made the honorable mention list.

Aaron Donald is probably the best DT I've ever seen play. What does this have to do with the fact that blindly looking at stats isn't a good way to evaluate a DT? You don't need to look at stats to know that Donald is elite.

Signing Leo was Gettleman’s way of ensuring that the Giants win the Regular Season Snoopy Bowl in a way that is highly embarrassing for the Jets. Then he will make sure that Daniel Jones plays better than Darnold. Brilliant actually, and I think it is going to work.
