New Head Coach Option

Recommended Posts

This guys been around the league for over 20 years

Experience ✔️

He's been involved in playoff games with 3 different teams (including one super bowl)

Performs under pressure ✔️

He can bring a unique perspective to the game, zigging when everyone else in the league is zagging.

Outside the box thinking ✔️

I bring to you the man for the job:

Matt Bryant Image result for matt bryant picture

Cant get any worse right then currently right? He definitely has the look of a great head coach, a blend of Andy Reid, Mike Holmgren, and Bruce Arians all in one.

Sammy might be onto something here. Matt Bryant is 14/15 in FGs and 33/34 XPs in the postman; basically Ice Man. Sign him now and eat the Gase contract.

Wouldn't mind exploring the possibility to bring in Nick Folk next season with Matt Bryant as the Special Teams Coordinator. Steal some of Lord Belichick's mojo and come back home.

Bottomline: Gase clearly isn't the answer.

What a strange thread.  How many fg kickers have turned into good head coaches?  Actually how many fg kickers have ever even become a head coach?  Actually, how many fg kickers have even ended up on any nfl coaching staff at any position?

The only good thing about FG kickers are their names. My Favorite: Rolf Benirschke. Fun Fact Rolf was the host of Wheel of Fortune for a while. I know who gives a phuck but it's a slow day.
