Sack Totals, Def Snaps

Ed Oliver: 1 sack in 272 Def Snaps

Quinnen Williams: 0 sacks in 211 Def Snaps

Ed Oliver with 1 whole sack more than Quinnen Williams. What a beast.

To be fair the Bills Defence is a little more difficult to get into the rotation.

Since their actually pretty good.

He also has 4 QB Hits to Quinnen's 1.  And I can't find the recent numbers, but as of Oct 2 he already had been credited with 9 QB Hurries and 11 QB Pressures.

But sure, he sucks and Quinnen was totally the better pick.

DE Josh Allen is a better comparison - majority of board seemed to prefer him if the Jets could not trade down

DL was not a position of need, not even close, so it does not matter which of two terrible selections were made - neither DL should have been on the Jets board

Jonah Williams on IR might be an interesting comparison, very similar impact to W/L record but at least a position of need

The next Donald.

A beast because they're built alike and nothing he did in college says the next Donaldd.

The majority of the board wanted Oliver if we were going DL

Not enough of a sample size to make a determination. Need at least 3 seasons body of work.

If we want to lament once again about dline selections:

2015 we draft leo williams 17 career sacks and then traded

devin smith, did nothing and now a cowboy backup

Lorenzo mauldin, out of the league i think?

3rd round 88th pick Danielle Hunter 48 career sacks, 8 so far this year, 14.5 last year

His pro day had those sparq guys gushing.

They’re junior GMs who actually believe you can scout with YouTube and combine numbers.  And love reaching for the last second media favorite.  Sometimes it works like with Mahomes.  Most times it’s Oliver

And absolutely nothing in this rehash has a thing to do with Oliver.

Macc f’ing up isn’t new news.  He was fired, deservedly.  So?  It’s not hard to rehash his misses.

Ed Oliver would have also been a terrible pick.  Take a DT was the worst, literally the worst position this team could have drafted with the #3 overall pick.

Drafting for position is how you end up with Sam Darnold instead of Quenton Nelson
