This weekends game has potential to be the worst game ever played by 2 NFL teams

Nope they’re not. If the jets are so bad were we so competitive against a jags team that is only a 1.5 dog against the might Texans and mvp deshaun Watson?

If you look how many zero Win and one Win teams there are in the NFL. The league needs to worry, as their product stinks.

That was a brutal game. Some 6-3  type early 90s Jets Colts games also Come to mind.

The cold rainy Jets 6-3 games with the camera always focusing on the beads of water dripping off the goalpost. Classics.

I'll raise you, didn't our punter Tom Tupa throw a few passes as well

Tupa went 6-10 for 165 yards, 2 TD's with a 143.7 passing rating. It actually was quite a performance.

Tom Tupa was a pretty good QB at Ohio St.

This o-line unit may be one of the worst units in league history. It is historically bad.

Pretty gross exaggeration. Yes, they are bad. Most of it has to do with awful communication, you can see it on the field. And that's no excuse. However, just think about the circumstances under which they have looked bad. They looked awful against a great pass rush in Jax, against the best D in the league in NE, against one of the best D's in the league in Buf., against a couple of great pass rushers on the Browns and a very good D-line on the Eagles. And on top of that 1/2 of those games the Jets had Falk at QB who was simply not ready to play in the NFL and took sack after sack after sack. I'm not even mentioning the injuries.

So yeah, bad. But worst in league history is a gross exaggeration. This o-line was a major wildcard coming in this season and pretty much everyone has underperformed. On top of that they were devastated by injuries (including the QB) and so far have faced some very tough defenses.

The Jets are tied for last in yards per rush at 3.2 yards per carry.

The Jets are tied with 34 sacks allowed.

The Jets are 5th with most qb hits allowed at 56.

The Jets lead (by a pretty large margin) sacks per game.

The Jets lead (by a large margin) team sacked percentage 13.71%.

Imagine that, 13.71% of the times the Jets drop back, the play results in a sack.

Yeah, the Jets O-line is historically bad. And that is good news. Because an o-line can be fixed in a relative short time.

you guys are nuts... let’s break it down

this team has played 4 games with its starting quarterback

1. week 1, 16 point 4th q lead vs #2 defense and overall good team, our qb at 80%

2. Beat a good cowboys team

4. get wrecked by pats in an aberration of a game. Let’s not pretend this isn’t unheard of , we lost 45-3 to the same team and still got to the afccg

5. played a competitive game against a good team on the road. One possession game until 5 mins in the fourth. One yard away from Anderson taking it 90 to tie the game...

we ain’t nearly as bad as you “sky is falling” fans want to believe, sorry to break it to ya

Let's see:

- awful OL

- mediocre at best offensive skill position players

- awful CBs

- no edge rusher

- young QB that is regressing in his second year

- poor coaching

- awful ownership

Yeah, this team's arrow is pointing all the way up.

I have watched 2 Dolphin games this season and they are about as bad as any team but Jets in their current state are really close. This might be hard to sit through.

not even close.  the worst game was one back in the 70's between the jets and the patsies.  namath was out as was woodall and some guy demory qbed the team.  i forget who the patsie qb was.  it might have been grogan or he might have been injured.  riggins won the game by rushing for about 125.

We haven't  played this one yet. If we had someone on the OL that was worth a crap it would be different but nobody can run block or protect

Wait until week 16 when the 0-14 Dolphins play the 0-14 Bengals.  Thats the only reason I want the Jets to win Sunday.

How strange would it be if the Dolphins (the only undefeated team in NFL history) were to go winless in the same season that Pats go undefeated?  Only because it's the Patriots am I even thinking it can be a possibility (as everything seems to work out in Patriot-land).

It was one of the lowest points. Worse than the butt fumble.

If there was the same influence from cable and the endless replays like we get of the buttfumble on ESPN, if the internet and YouTube were around for the media blitz, that play would may be just as memorable
