I think (hope) that CJ has a bad taste in his mouth after the 4 year Mac / Bowles debacle and despite his instinct to do otherwise, he will be a little more decisive this time around and get rid of Gase after this season is over.  Even a trust fund billionaire doesn't enjoy walking around with egg on his face all the time.  Money and ego is what drives folks like him and right now, his ego is taking a beating.

Sam's career trajectory is looking more like Matt Stafford's.  I don't think he does a Kurt Cousins and rides out the franchise tags.

This kind of post is, IMO, one of the very worst inferiority complex issues suffered by Jets Fans.

You all literally think EVERY PLAYER WE EVER CUT will become an All-Pro, probably for New England.

Truth is, it almost never happens.  Our guys suck, then they suck at one or two other spots, then they're out of the league.

Our trash is NOT the rest of the NFL's treasure.

While it happens once in a while, it's not common, at all.  And we get our own castoffs (equally rare) who do ok here as well.

Please, for the love of God, stop with these kinds of threads.  It's a meme at this point, ffs.

Thats' what makes Mike McCagnans reign here so so so bad.  He was in Hpuston when they did the same thing.  Ignore the oline draft the young Qb who gets killed for three years and only after about the second year do they actually try and make the oline good.  Same thing with Andrew Luck.

In 2 years Sam Darnold will be lucky to be a career back up in this league. This season isn't half over yet and he's already seen ghost and watched a fumble drift into the endzone like he was paralyzed with fear. Its sad, I was one of the happiest to get him but this kid has been trashed by this inept franchise. Sam's death warrant was signed in blood when that idiot Chris Johnson gave Macc another draft.
