DRAFT ANALYSIS:

Canady has the size, speed, and awareness to play in zone or man schemes. The Ravens got good value here as he should strengthen their depth at CB entering the season. --Mark Dulgerian

 Canady has the size and athleticism to be an NFL cornerback, but it is hard to ignore the disparity in touchdowns allowed (10) versus interceptions (three) over the last two seasons. Canady's long speed and toughness are going to be heavily scrutinized during the draft process, but he has enough talent to be an NFL backup.

Canady was originally cut prior to the start of the regular season but re-joined the team following a slew of injuries in the secondary. In the absence of Tavon Young and Jimmy Smith, Canady quickly found himself playing a lot of defensive snaps.

He leapfrogged Anthony Averett on the depth chart and performed admirably against the Browns, Steelers and Bengals. Unfortunately, a thigh injury forced him to miss the past two games. Following the acquisition of Marcus Peters and return of Smith, there isn’t many snaps to go around at cornerback

Canady may have been the odd man out, but he’s a talented player and should be credited for playing well this season. He’ll surely find a landing spot elsewhere soon enough.

Seriously... **** man... 12 on IR this season not including Mosley and KO who basically are on IR... Plus drafting bless Austin and signing udfa Moore... That's 16 players
