C Mart
DRAFT ANALYSIS: Canady has the size, speed, and awareness to play in zone or man schemes. The Ravens got good value here as he should strengthen their depth at CB entering the season. --Mark Dulgerian 6'1 DRAFT PROJECTION Rounds 5 or 6 SOURCES TELL US "He's soft. He has talent, but I have serious doubts about whether or not he's physically tough enough and mentally tough enough. Teams would runs screens at him because they knew he might not challenge the play. At least he was a playmaker in 2014." -- AFC scout in charge of ACC NFL COMPARISON Tye Smith BOTTOM LINE Canady has the size and athleticism to be an NFL cornerback, but it is hard to ignore the disparity in touchdowns allowed (10) versus interceptions (three) over the last two seasons. Canady's long speed and toughness are going to be heavily scrutinized during the draft process, but he has enough talent to be an NFL backup. Lith
https://www.baltimorebeatdown.com/2019/11/5/20950377/ravens-waive-cb-maurice-canady-sign-wr-deanthony-thomas-to-the-53-man-roster-baltimore Canady was originally cut prior to the start of the regular season but re-joined the team following a slew of injuries in the secondary. In the absence of Tavon Young and Jimmy Smith, Canady quickly found himself playing a lot of defensive snaps. He leapfrogged Anthony Averett on the depth chart and performed admirably against the Browns, Steelers and Bengals. Unfortunately, a thigh injury forced him to miss the past two games. Following the acquisition of Marcus Peters and return of Smith, there isn’t many snaps to go around at cornerback Canady may have been the odd man out, but he’s a talented player and should be credited for playing well this season. He’ll surely find a landing spot elsewhere soon enough.

mrcoops
Rontez Miles went onto IR to free up the roster spot for Canady. Miles is a FA in the offseason. I hope this isn't the end of his Jets' career. Love me some 'Tez.

pdxgreen
Our waiver pickups have been okay, nothing great. Lewis is probably the best. I thought Griffin might feature more but our offense has gone to sh*t. Next man up! Bring 'em on!
