Of course...should have been done in Miami, in the locker, in front of the players, right after the game. I see people are spending $ on a Fire Gase banner to fly over during the game. I’m surprised its not a Sell The Team Johnsons banner though. This mess has been made by Fredo Johnson. He’s the moron who KEPT Mac, and decided he was smart enough to help hire the most important Jets coach hire in decades. He along with Mac wanted to hire Matt Rhule, yet dictate who would be the coordinators. Then he hires Adam Gase who, wow...no other team wanted. The only other team that even interviewed him were the Cardinals. I’ll give Fredo credit, he closed the deal on Joe Douglas. But he created this disaster. Who know anyone could be more clueless than his idiot older brother? This season is way worse than ‘96. Look at the list here, - Darnold: mono, seeing ghosts publicized, regression. - 2 injury grievances filed. That looks bad. No one wants to play for a team that sucks and treats their players like sh*t. - Gase still the coach - HOF player in Bell producing like Elijah McGuire This place is toxic and it currently is absolutely one of the worst organizations in the big 4 sports. They can, you know, own the team and defer all football decisions to a qualified person. That’s a fair compromise and what should have been happening. Whether it’s the GM or a VP of football ops. Everyone wins. Useless Johnsons keep their cash cow and the team is run by someone that is qualified. I hate the Johnsons but they are never selling the team. They waste SOOOO much money in dead money from bad contracts for players, coaches and GMs. They are actually losing money from being so short sighted.
