True.  But I do like the idea of 12 personnel.  Bell, Griffin, Herndon with two WRs like Crowder and Robby is a 2-TE presumptive running formation with 5 pass catchers on the field.

Agreed. But Gase is clueless about this kind of stuff.

Yeah who? Did they re-sign that guy Sterling you had a hard-on for?

No hard on dude, watched the kid play college football thought he was decent so did the Jacksonville Jaguars they drafted him things did not work out his career probably over because of concussions.

Did you drink tainted water or what, whats your problem.

Sam needs another case of mono and then some therapy sessions so he can learn to believe in himself again. Its been sooo ugly.

His mechanics have just been awful. He needs someone to work with him.

That is what is now so clear that Josh McCown was so good at doing, keeping Darnold focused on his fundamentals!

This coaching staff unfortunately  doesn’t do that and it shows.

The hype over Herndon is pretty funny.  Almost as hype as Darnold pre-2019.

Straws.  Grasping.  Etc.

totally agree.  if this guy was really good, and we all hope so,  he'd have been ready to play when his suspension was over.  better yet he would've come into came in shape.  some of these players just don't seem to want to pay the price for success.

It’s hard to have good fundamentals running from your life and with no faith in your line

Jets fans sure do love their JAGs. But start a Revis, Gastineau or C-Mart thread and watch the hate roll in.

The OL being the blame for Darnold's poor fundamebtals is a JN urban legend. The OL isn't good, but Sam throws off his back foot even when he has time. Good QBs hang in, even step up in the pocket, and step into throws. They don't play odd their back foot.

Darnold never had good footwork, and he always had poor mechanics, even at USC. He'll never be consistent, or very good until he straightens that out.

All this "he's only 21, 22", he's "only played QB a few years" stuff that so many here keep getting talking about aren't positives. Like his poor mechanics, they're obstacles, and he hasn't overcome  them thus far.

Yeah, he has no faith in his o line, these guys aren’t robots and this isn’t madden, but thanks for the pics sport

you choose to ignore the fundamental flaws in his mechanics.

why not put your moneyt where your mouth is? i say Sam doesnt achieve 2:1 TD ratio in next 2 years.

You seem like an extreme knowledgeable football fan, with no agenda. Carry on

I don’t ignore anything, you ignore the reality of the team he is playing with out of hate and agenda. Why the hell would I bet that with the jets as his franchise, sport?
