Have to root for the guy to overcome two serious injuries beside local Rutgers player

Hes easy to root for, anyone who has to overcome what hes had to overcome is.

Hopefully he really is Blessed and avoids serious injury moving forward.

That’s a pretty good idea and solid delivery. I like the way you act like your not sure what Quinnen’s name is.

I forget how to spell his name at times 😂

Maccagnan the man that thought you draft run stuffing DT’s, and Safeties over Edge Rushers and Offensive linemen. What a tool..

I think QW will turn into a very good player but based on these young DTs balling out here like Foley, Phillips, Shepard, the pick should have been Josh Allen. Had Macc picked Josh Allen it would have been his all time best here (not saying much), but Bless Austin, Josh Allen, Wesco, Cashman, would have been a damn good draft. Allen & Austin would have filled the 2 hardest positions & Douglas would have a wide open draft to get this Oline fixed & find some bog fast WRs.

If Bless continues to play well, he may prove to be a decent caliber #2 CB for next year.  That would be a huge gain.

Kid isn't afraid to get physical and make a tackle either.

If you posted this before today’s game (looks like you did), kudos. He looks to be a really physical corner.

It looks like all our DBs played well because Tyrell Williams, Waller and Renfrow were all shut down

Don’t you love when announcers openly root against the Jets?

I was watching the clip from ESPN’s pregame and Tedy Bruschi acted like this was such an easy win for the raiders the game might as well not be played

Anybody have PFF grades on Austin?

I think his overall was at 87.5.  I don't pay for the breakdowns, but:

The Player Grading Scale: 100-90 Elite 89-85 Pro Bowler 84-70 Starter 69-60 Backup 59-0 Replaceable

Basically a QB would have a higher pass rating just throwing that ball in the dirt than trying to complete a pass on Blessumunous Austin.

I also love how he sticks his nose in to the kid can flat out play.

I actually hate this, given his injury record.

Make some business decisions young man.

It’s now at 87.5. I’m cautiously giddy we may have a lockdown corner.

Again - please stay healthy kid.

Once teams get film on him they will exploit him.  Too early to tell if he’s legit or not.

Yes. So far so good/

We'll see if that is a good thing for a kid with injury history.  Gotta say, he looks like the real deal

QB scrambles outside the pocket, looks deep for the WR on the sideline.  Bless is with him stride for stride, QB looks his direction anyway.  Bless looks back inside for the ball, but never loses track of his WR on the outside and uses his body positioning to steer the WR out of bounds.

Don't know why, but I read this like Quentin Tarantino as Mr. Brown

His assent to the top of the CB rankings should be another reminder against making comments about a player we dont know much about, havent seen play.

The pick of Austin was trashed by most here who wanted a scrub WR or OL at 6.  His activation was also met with lots of derogatory comments about him being a jag pick

Stat sheets and profiles dont tell you anything about a players determination, heart and motor.

Bless Austin is one hell of a feel good story

Anita Marks has been picking against the Jets for a few weeks now on Sunday mornings (at least pre Giants game and pre Raiders game). Between that and her prediction that Davis Webb was a great QB, I’ve realized she is wrong a lot and doesn’t know what she’s talking about.
