Your boy Clelin Ferrell has been a big disappointment thus far though, hasn't he?

All the things the Jets have epically failed at over the last decade. It is relevant to look at teams who are doing it right. That’s great and all but I’m sure if Mack plays the bengals with there current Qb. He would have 4-5 sacks too

He was more or less average for 2-3 years. He was never one of the top 10-20 guards in the league, but from 2015-2017 wasn't one of the 10-20 worst either. He was not an asset per se, but not a train wreck. However he was train wreck bad in his first 2 years, and whatever the reason, this year he regressed tremendously to become so again. Your last line is just obnoxious and uncalled for. Anyone with 2 brain cells could see the point is if Edoga can turn into somewhat average (even if only slightly below average) for 2 straight seasons while on his cheap rookie contract, that it will help tremendously because they need to find four more starters aside from him. I would take him holding the fort until we can revisit his slot again over a crisis to try to find 5 above average OLmen that we won't find in one offseason. If he improves to almost-average and still a better replacement is found next year anyway, all the better.
jeremy2020
Mack has been great consistently for years. A guy doing "better" than him for a year doesn't mean much.
