That's really not true. The first couple super bowls, that team was more defense and running that ball. Brady didn't shut down the Greatest Show on Turf, that was Bill coming up with a plan. Brady didn't blow a 14 point 4th quarter lead against the greatest show on turf either. By the way, that was the first time in SB history a defense blew a lead as large as 10 points in the 4th quarter. 2 years later they did it again this time blowing an 11 point 4th quarter lead vs Carolina. Without Brady they were 5-11 in 2000 and started 0-2 in 2001. He wasn't putting up the individual numbers he has been since 2007 but he was the biggest reason they became a dynasty.
