Best introductory post ever.

P.S. sh*t, Sam, is that you?

Couple that with his username and that is a slam dunk.

How are the Jets supposed to prevent players from drinking during their free time? Alcohol is not a banned substance in the NFL.

Just like they can ban them from social media. Or anything else

We were so worried about his spleen when we should have been more concerned about his liver.

Just so long as he is mindful of the safety in the end zone all is good.

I don't care what he does but I care about the Jets related to other NFL teams.    Article says Jets have no rules against drinking?  Do some teams have such rules? If 28 teams prohibit drinking during the season and the Jets don't then there is a problem.

This organization has not made the playoffs in 10 years.  I would hope it is being run like all organizations and not trying to have its own rules and policies.  If that is the case they should rethink things.

How could you possibly have a "no drinking" rule throughout the entire season? The players have a personal life also and they have to act responsible.  They went out on a Sunday night when they are off till Wednesday. They also had a limo which meant they weren't driving. Obviously if his were Saturday night prior to a game that would be a different story.

He’s a 22 year old starting QB of an NFL team not some choir boy....long as he doesn’t catch a DUI or anything who cares?

Don't forget how much southern California kids enjoy beating northern California teams!  Probably not as well known back east but Sammy being from the Dana Point / San Juan Capistrano area just south of LA is like a kid from New York City facing off against a Boston team....there's just a little something extra for Sam when facing a Bay area team like the Raiders.

My bigger concern is why they're off until Wednesday. Tuesday, maybe, but the Jets are still 4-7.

I'm not sure, I know teams tend to get a "victory" Monday after big wins.

The real story here is that a bunch of kid multimillionaires hang out at Bounce in Flatiron.  That’s the real shame of all of this.

Also, they better make Trumaine pick up the tab.  Every ******* time.

Perfect example of "click bait" in the digital age.  A legal aged player drinks, hangs

with teammates, talks to women and then takes a car service home.  Where's the

story???  Utter nonsense

only thing missing was a stupid ghost reference in there somewhere.

The most disturbing part of this story is the money thief Trumaine Johnson was there like he's actually part of this Jets team. They can't cut this Mofo quick enough for me when the cap implication is at it's least.

Jets couldn't find a job Trumaine could handle on the Jets other than chauffeur and babysitter.

This article paints him as an awesome dude letting lose in good fun.  Not to mention the awesomeness of how the article states everyone protects him off the field just as they do on the field how can you not love that.

probably been a decade since the last 30+ point victory for the Jets - I am ok with a celebration

Its been a whole week since they last did it.

I love everything about this "story" but the thing I love the most is that the offense and defense go out together socially.  I love the fact that Jamal and Sam - our two most important young players - hang out.

IMO, the Post buried the lede from a football standpoint.

LOL - very good, guess I should have been more clear - 30 point margin of victory

34-17 Redskins is a 17 point victory - when was the last blowout - Colts?
