I also responded to someone I view as a loser.

And how long did it take?  Let  me ask you- in your life have you  ever been on a date?

Notice how he is keeping it alive but can't come up with  any type of comeback.

The beauty of this is that in a fraction of your words I’m much more satisfied with my results.

Is there a precedent for trading a top 5 pick after 1 season?

Williams is really good. It's the rest of the line that sucks. If Shepherd and Phillips and Fatukasi were actually any good, McLendon and Anderson wouldn't be starting hurt. If we had a pass rusher and anybody else who could play nose tackle, Williams would be playing a lot more 3-technique and judging his numbers based on that would be reasonable. But as things stand most of his snaps are coming either at 1-technique or as one of only two down linemen. The Jets have been doing some really weird sh*t with defensive formations to compensate for the obvious personnel shortcomings and Williams has been a huge part of making it all work.

We get it dude....you want to trade him.  I think some are extremely paranoid that he is Leo Williams 2.0.  Can we give the kid time?  He hasn’t been bad despite what some claim. He has dealt with injuries too.    Personally I would of been happy with Allen but I was absolutely fine with drafting Williams.  They aren’t trading the number 3 pick after 11 games so you might as well deal with it.

Number 9 was traded by Miami this past off season.  Brett Favre as well.

Quinnen Williams will be one of the best defensive players in the league in the next few years.

After making some great progress, jet fans have reverted back to being morons again.

Spoken like a true fan of the Crimson Tide.

Jesus.... this thread makes me want to vomit. Yes, trade a rookie 3rd round pick after 11 games or so.  that sounds brilliant.

3rd round pick?  If we can get anything for Edoga we should take it!  Williams was #3 overall.  I'd consider it for multiple firsts.  Otherwise? **** that.

Brett Favre wasn't even a 1st rounder.

No but if the Jets get a first rounder  as Miami did they will be a better team with whoever they take with the pick than they  are with Williams.

I think you should read what you just posted about a dozen times and then tell us the flaw in that statement lol

How do you know that?  There is no way you could say that know...too small of sample size.  Again they aren’t trading him after 1 year UNLESS somebody offers a monster package or something

I think every rookie in the league deserves a minimum of one off-season to improve.

I'm just going to go ahead and say what many of us are thinking. This is a giant block of ish that no one wants to read.

It’s mostly ish.

In less words:

QW feels bust-like because he hasn’t performed up to expectations. If we can trade first rounders for him that’s great and helps us build around Darnold.

If someone is stupid enough to offer the Jets a first for the fat kid. We should take their arm off.

Just read the first 3 sentences. You don't trade Quinnen. You would gain almost nothing, and it costs almost nothing to keep him.

Also, take a look at the NFL team defense stats. You're not desperate to upgrade him. Let him learn.

It amazes me how one day "we suck at drafting" and the next we'll trade our high first after a year for a late day 2 or day 3 pick that's going to be gold.

Waitaminute- just saw more of the OP in a quote - you think you can replace QW in the 3rd, AND you think that someone would give you a first and a third for him??

My god, at least make this plausible.

$500 says the OP has never had a fantasy trade offer accepted.

I don't know why we wouldn't just trade Kyron Brown for a 1 and a 3 too. Think of how much better we'd be with all these 1s and 3s!!
