Perhaps it's simply my generally low opinion of Anderson that had me find it a bit surprising for some to seem to think of him as the more guilty party. I expect better from Darnold. Anderson, on the other hand, I would certainly like more, but that's pretty much on par with what we've seen for 4 years now.

jetspenguin 2,055
So I guess you guys are going to keep the “bad play by Robbie” thing going for a while, huh? Darnold threw a poor ball, and Berrios’ was worse, but carry on...Shhhh.....if we lose Robbie will be the scapegoat. Sent from the Suicide Watch desk.
ausman 880
Obviously, not happy with the way this is starting out. Just lucky Cincinnati decided to go back to their vet starter this week. No breaks.

Dont be an a hole today, its going to be bad enough without it.

The Crusher 219,887
DarnoldS timing looks off. It’s like he’s looking for the check Down.
Matt39 42,706
1 minute ago, TheNuuFaaolaExperience said: False. Darnold did his job by getting the ball to where Robby could catch it. If you can get two hands and your body on a ball, you can catch it. Darnold threw a duck, albeit a catchable duck, The goat on that play is Robby. It should have been caught. It was also a duck. His deep ball needs a ton of work. They tend to die.

ScarletKnight89 3,521
6 minutes ago, Bleedin Green said: True, but the reality is Anderson is by no measure a #1 WR. It's not that Anderson couldn't have been done better, but it's just a laughable concept for the expectation level to be held higher for Anderson than it is for Darnold. It's really just a matter of some regularly feeling the need to treat Jets' QB's like china dolls. It was an awfully great rush to point the finger elsewhere on a terrible throw. It's not about not wanting to criticize Sam. He has to make a better throw. I think everyone agrees on that. But the reality is, not every pass is going to be a perfectly thrown ball. Receivers get paid to catch the ball and every pass isn't going to hit them in the chest. That catch has to be made in that spot. So did the one to Berrios which was right in his chest.

JTJet 5,448
Personally I think Darnold looks sharp all around. It's the fact we keep trying to run it up the middle for some reason.

pdxgreen 4,915
Why the hell is Gase calling for Bell to cut inside? This sh*tty OL can't make those kind of blocks with the hesitation kind of running he does. We haven't all friggin' year. Montgomery and Powell do better pounding that sh*t. We are coming up two short on every down.
jetspenguin 2,055
Both Sam and Robbie share equal responsibility for not getting that score. That being said they wont get equal blame of course.Sent from the Suicide Watch desk.
