Name one Jets offensive lineman that you definitely want back next year as a starter. You can't.

Remember when Douglas got killed for trying to band-aid the Center position with Kalil?  What a loser.  Everyone knows it's easy to find starting O-Linemen in August.

Everyone also knows every #PlayoffRoster starts with a bottom 3 Offensive Line.

Macc should be arrested for criminal negligence.

What I can't figure out is that this has been an ongoing issue for years.  Was Mac the only one responsible for player evaluation?  Was the coaching staff not given any say into personnel decisions?

Macc came from a personnel background, and he was the GM.  So, yeah, he was the primary reason the OL sucks right now.

The coaches certainly had input, but only the GM puts his name on draft picks.  We didn't once use a pick higher than a 3rd rounder on OL, and that 3rd rounder (Edoga) blows.

Have to use the approach taken in 2006, targeting the two most important OLine positions in the Draft with a LT and Center.  This is a reasonably good year to do that.  The Line isn't a 1-year rebuild.  Our best hope is to draft LT, Center, and then sign a couple hold-the-fort guys at OG, and probably compete Shell against a second-year Edoga at RT.

If we can get the next Brick and Mangold in this upcoming draft, it won't require more than a 1-year rebuild.  That's how important upgrading LT and one other spot on the line can be for an offense.

What I fail to understand is why there are some posters out there who would flat out refuse to trade Jamal Adams to make this so.

Beachum..  and can we stop already with the o line whimpering?  It looked fine last couple weeks and serviceable much of last year.

Yes its important and yes improvements coming but Dallas and Eagles have 2 of the best o lines in the league and they are decidedly mediocre overall.

Even if you're correct (you're decidedly not), we should be shooting for much better than "serviceable", no?  No "playoff roster" has merely a "serviceable" O-Line.

And if your best examples for the counter-argument are the currently mediocre Cowboys and Eagles, you're doing this wrong.  Neither of those teams belong in the playoffs, but one will make it because the NFC East is currently the worst division in the NFL.

Well we just have to agree to disagree because they were average to below average at multiple spots in an ideal scenario. Not one player was above average coming into this season. It’s crazy to think otherwise.

7.5 wins per Vegas.  Sounds about right to me.

what is it you think you know about the OL coach? exactly, please.

Highly respected, long-time OL Coach for multiple organizations can't turn sh*t into lemonade.

Jets fans:  HE'S THE PROBLEM

They’ll be lucky to get to 5.

As soon as we lost in Week 1, prior to finding out about Sam's mono, I had us at 6 wins.
