He’s nowhere near .500. He’s 8-14, and he “basically” cost his team 3 games this season with mono.

in before he “basically beat Buffalo”

Buffalo....and Houston, and Green Bay, and Cleveland and Miami from last year...ALL games where he gave the D leads 3 of them very very late some even final drives...and terrible coaching lost those 5 games...NOT Darnold.

He could easily be 13-9....he would be if Belichick coached the Jets.

Hasn’t had that moment in a few weeks but that was terrible.

The dude had time and if he stepped into the throw he would’ve got it there.

Threw it off his back foot.

Darnold is on the hot seat next season. If that sh*t keeps up we’ll be moving on.

damn. Those plays never get picked by us. It's like we stare at the ball instead of running after it.

Defense bailed him out.  Now answer with a TD.

0 points off of that Darnold int. Their missed field goal followed by Darnold leading us into the endzone equals a 10 point turn.

The turnover doesn't cost the Jets points. That's big. They need to go down and score a TD on this drive and get this back to a two score game.

It's a typical Fitzpatrick game plan. Chip away, chip away, get lucky late in the game with a fluke deep pass.

It's coming. Brace yourself.

I’m not happy with the chunk plays either but you have to admit we are making key 3rd down stops in the red zone. If the offense get going this game be over a while ago

You cant be a good QB and beat good teams with this kind of stupid throws

How many games before he learns

This could be a game decided by turnovers. Hopefully Fitz turns the ball over more than Sam. Fitz has been coming close to turnovers all day.

Bad pass by Sam, but was Smith supposed to pull up there instead of going deep?

The bad INTs and the bad deep ball accuracy is what's holding back. The rest of his game is fine. He's cutting back on the INTs. But the deep ball accuracy is a concern.

Baker Matfield is in more commercials in 1.5 years than Peyton Manning could ever dream in his career.
