Stark
Stuck with him long enough to ruin or be unsure of Darnold going into his critical contract extension. Then still being unsure and being forced to either draft another QB or extend Darnold and hope he turns into what he looked like at t end of last season with Bates calling plays.

kdels62
17 years and 2 Super Bowls. He stays 2 years after Darnold’s retirement but when the team goes 7-9 and no new QB on the horizon he steps down to work in the front office with Joe Douglas. 1 1
sirlancemehlot
Let's see, he decided not to run the ball against one of the worst run defenses in league last week, then decided to spend an entire half running the ball against a team with Two undrafted rookie corners. Is say he's got one more season with his nose glued to the play sheet.

Like drafting a TE with 40 catches in his entire career at Penn St high in the 1st Rd over Warren Sapp and then spending numerous high 1st Rd picks in the future, trying to correct that mistake, on DTs that you could have gotten in the 4th Rd or even lower.

At this point it isn’t even “bad luck”. The sample size is large enough to say there are serious deficiencies in the coaches Gase has for strength and conditioning. Every team Gase has coached has either led the league in injuries or been close. They flashed a stat today that the Jets lead the league this year.

Gase is untouchable until probably middle of 2020 season where they can just make Greg Williams “interim” without paying a new guy. More realistically after 2020 at earliest. Johnsons don’t have a history of mid-season firings, despite plenty of deserving candidates.

That is their business. Said pharmaceutical empire was divided up a long time ago. They have received a mere trickle of it.
