Patriots scandal - If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck....

Recommended Posts

The Patriots have employed the TB12 clinic since 2013. Tom Brady renegotiated his contract in 2013. He was paid as the 5th highest QB that year. In the years to follow he was the 12th, 14th, 18th, 20th, 11th and 11th. Not to mention Medical Groups pay big bucks to be the "official partner" of a professional team, the TB12 clinic doesn't pay a dime.

Let's hope Sam Darnold opens a Hot Dog stand that makes $50m per year and takes a team friendly deal.

I mean we know Barry Bonds was a great baseball player. What we don't know is if he would have broke the Maris single season home run record (I don't count the other cheaters). Probably not?

Bonds never got close to 61 without steroids.  He was always at around 35-40hrs pre steroids

Btw it was so obvious when Bonds, Mcgwire and Sosa did roids and it’s obvious Brady and most Pats players (including Edelman who got a suspension that Goodell is hiding the reason for) are on steroids

Not only would he never see 61, he may have struggled to get those 35-40.  As an aging baseball player who was starting to lose playing time to injury before steroids, his "help" was keeping him on the field.  Cut his playing time and his power and 61 plus isn't in the cards

PR Spin machine already in full force.

First it was Schefter and now Florio. NFL working its magic.

They want us to believe that an organization that is meticulous about every little detail about everything just made a giant bone head error like this? After they've already gone through spygate?

Is anyone with a brain buying that? FOH

That's exactly the part that gets me. Everyone hangs off BBs nuts for being the smartest coach in the league and knowing the rulebook better than anyone.

Then he says yesterday "we didnt KNOWINGLY break any rules".

How does anyone in a professional level believe that?

Yeah but Bonds was absolutely a hall of famer and all time great before the steroids

Current running tally for NFL/ESPN paid shills trying to advance the narrative that this incident was just a random accident.

Adam Schefter

Mike Florio

Skip Bayless

Ryan Clark

Update as neccesary...

I just saw what Clark said that was pathetic

Not to get into baseball - but that answer to that is almost certainly a resounding no. he broke that record well past what should have been his prime - it was the steroids that allowed to get better with age.

Age 29-33 he hit between 33 and 42 HR a year, great production.

Age 36 he hits 73.   Yeah, lot's of people peak athletically at 37 without using serious PEDs........

Haha, of course you’d operate within the narrative that Brady’s productivity was independent of the cheating. When in this narrative was the cheating ramped down?

Probably right after mangini tattled,  they lost a first rd pick, everyone was watching them closely and yuckos like you predicated the Pats would falter only to watch Brady lead one of the greatest offensive seasons in the history of the game.

https://dailysnark.com/orlando-scandrick-claims-patriots-check-visiting-team-hotels-for-playbooks-and-game-plans/

Quote

Orlando Scandrick, the former Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles cornerback on The Herd with Colin Cowherd and talked about various topics around the NFL.

One of the discussions were surrounding the latest controversy involving the New England Patriots and Scandrick dropped an interesting tidbit about what the Patriots allegedly did and still possibly do to this day.

So @OScandrick just said on @TheHerd that the rumor around the league is the Patriots have people go to the visiting team hotel and do a sweep of the hotel in case they can find any game plan, playbook, etc. stuff laying around, and bring it to the team if they do.

Scandrick claims the Patriots sent an employee of of the team tot he visiting team’s hotel to look for anything that was left behind by players, coaches or anybody connected to the opposing team that could give the Patriots a competitive advantage.

That claim sounds similar to what Pats’ employee stated during the SpyGate article that was released by Outside The Lines:

Via OTL:

IN FACT, MANY FORMER NEW ENGLAND COACHES AND EMPLOYEES INSIST THAT THE TAPING OF SIGNALS WASN’T EVEN THE MOST EFFECTIVE CHEATING METHOD THE PATRIOTS DEPLOYED IN THAT ERA.

SEVERAL OF THEM ACKNOWLEDGE THAT DURING PREGAME WARM-UPS, A LOW-LEVEL PATRIOTS EMPLOYEE WOULD SNEAK INTO THE VISITING LOCKER ROOM AND STEAL THE PLAY SHEET, LISTING THE FIRST 20 OR SO SCRIPTED CALLS FOR THE OPPOSING TEAM’S OFFENSE. (THE PRACTICE BECAME SO NOTORIOUS THAT SOME COACHES PUT OUT FAKE PLAY SHEETS FOR THE PATRIOTS TO SWIPE.)

Earlier this week a Patriots’ employee had footage confiscated because he allegedly illegally recorded the Bengals sidelines during their game against the Cleveland Browns.

This is true. I completely underestimated the advantage that all of those years of spying on every team would provide to the  game managing system QB.

The crux of the spying was against the Rams offense no, which would ebenfit the defense. As does the thing Barry posted above highlighted in red. Sounds like your boy Belichick is really a hack DC whoe cheated his was to an bend but don't break defense  that was good enough when paired with the GOAT QB who he lucked into

Glad we are on the same page!
