He was being fired from the Texans so had to take the “promotion,” but maybe should not have. He probably has enough money to retire with, that few of us do. He was smart to avoid picking “bust” first round picks, which have sunk many others in his job before him, some pretty quickly. That got him 6 years of GM pay. He will never pick players again. He was working for idiots and figured that out and catered to him. God bless him and his family; I wish them the best, but I hope he finds another vocation for the rest of his years on this Earth.
