Thanks for posting. I forgot what a pulling guard or center looks like

That OL was ridiculous- huge holes and Chad picked that defense apart with quick decisions and smart plays and some timely 20 yarders

met chad once, just as impressive as real as you’d expect. Wonder if Sam has ever hung with him, good influence

This game / Week prior against GB / ‘09 Home Opener against NE were the best games I’ve ever been to.

I can’t imagine what our fans and the media would say if Sam Darnold and the Jets put up a playoff performance like the one Peyton (in his 5th season) and co. did that day, with a hof coach, hof wr, and a loaded roster.

I actually had the privilege of being in the building for the last Jet home playoff game (17 years ago).

Lets hope for some lean New England years next decade and see it again.

Great game.... we simply did a NY JET and didn't show up the following week. That Oakland team was beatable as was New England.  Oh well....

And wasn’t after this season the Jets front office let OL Mackenzie and Randy thomas Walk?  Next season Pennington breaks wrist in meaningless preseason game against giants playing with 2nd and 3rd string Olineman.  Jets org screwed what could have been a special team for years up.

They held our Wrs every play. Nfl fix.  Pennington was crazy good when healthy.

well that and the fact the Jets had ZERO run defense back then.  worked well when they were blowing out the Colts and Peyton had to keep passing, but the Raiders ran the ball I think like 15 consecutive plays at one point?  it was ridiculous - the Jets just could not stop the run.

Penningon always struggled against good press man to man coverage and he ate up a cover two zone team like the Colts.

Lots of smarts to know where the throw the ball against a zone, little arm strength to fit the ball into tight coverage.

The Jets have hosted 7 home playoff games in franchise history and only 5 post merger.

This was the last one.

My son was 2 months old when this game was played and he goes to college next fall.

The Jets have played in 10 playoff games since this one.

TEN consecutive road playoff games.  Must be a record.

Thomas and Coles went to Washington. Coles as an RFA and Thomas as a UFA. Jets actually got a first for Coles, but used it to trade up for DeWayne Robertson.

Jets let McKenzie walk in 2005 (Giants)

They called Terry Bradway "Terry Badway" for a reason

Thanks for posting, just a reminder we have a thread with classic games which this one is in.  Always feel free to add any games/clips you think others would like.

Remember that Parcells left us in cap hell, if not for the 2002 expansion draft that saved our call we don't see this division title.  2003 was married by Chad's injury but they made moves to win 10 games and get within a kick of the AFC championship game a year later.

unbelievable.

remember this game like it was yesterday. Richie Anderson is still running after catching that screen pass

After watching some of the video, I was amazed to see 3 O lineman escorted Anderson down the field on that screen pass. They were 30 yards downfield making blocks. Every time I've seen a Jet O lineman more than 5 yards past the line of scrimmage this season, they were called for illegal man downfield.
