I actually had the privilege of being in the building for the last Jet home playoff game (17 years ago).

Lets hope for some lean New England years next decade and see it again.

So was I.  Amazingly, I was able to get tickets to that game without being a STH or winning a ticket lottery.  They announced there were some extra tickets on sale and I remember waiting on line to buy them and having no trouble.  I got there a little early but not too early (maybe 20-30 minutes early).

After watching some of the video, I was amazed to see 3 O lineman escorted Anderson down the field on that screen pass. They were 30 yards downfield making blocks. Every time I've seen a Jet O lineman more than 5 yards past the line of scrimmage this season, they were called for illegal man downfield.

And watch excellent Qb skill ..... taking snaps under center.  Qbs don’t have the same skills these days.  Qb play used to be a thing of beauty.  Now shotgun shotgun shotgun.

And don't forget ball-fakes, Peyton and Chad were as good or better at it than anyone in the past 20 years. It's a lost art but it gets receivers open and buys a QB time. I wish Sam would seek out Chad in the off season to develop his ball faking skills.

That roster was so good from the late 90's and it carried for several years, especially the Line with Mawae, the running game, some good WRs.  It really kept the Jets competitive for the playoffs almost every year.  They were always dancing around a Wild Card berth.

We all know it but this just reinforces how much a bad roster can hold you back and even shiny little bandaids of talent like Le’Veon Bell or Jamal Adams or whoever can't turn a 3 or win capable roster into a .500 team.
