The JETS worst since 2004 with Herm. Not that our offense would’ve been good but that stat would be different. 4

nycdan
Weeks 3 and 4 under the guiding hands of one Luke Falk, the offense put up a COMBINED total of 233 yards while going 3-26 on 3rd down conversions. That's going to move the needle to the left...a lot.

RutgersJetFan
He’s got a QB that’s almost 1-1 in touchdowns to turnovers, played a 3rd stringer for a month, and has one of the worst lines in the league. Ryan Griffin was his best weapon on offense and he got knocked out like a month ago. If he took more risks we’d likely look like the Steelers did on offense today. This offense has layers upon layers of problems but I have no idea how anyone thinks they can accurately assess anything Gase at this point.

His entire career to date he’s had mostly garbage to work with. Some OC’s can still make it work better than he has. But he may be a guy that can thrive with the right talent...there are disasters who just suck no matter what you give them... So heres hoping for 2020

You can assess the three years with the Dolphins. On the whole, his offense are bottom of the barrel year in and year out.

Steelers were just waiting for the other shoe to drop on this season. Their record was a mirage, they are a bad football team.

But, Gase had 3 years of suck prior to even coming here. Are you going to give Rex or Macc the benefit of doubt if they struggle their first year with another team even under dismal circumstances? I know most of you wouldn’t after what we saw here for multiple years. I wouldn’t. If it weren’t for Williams’ defense (16th DVOA) propping up wins in 3 games where the offense only managed 1 or 2 TDs, Gase’s failures (30th DVOA) would be more clear to some than they currently seem.
