You probably would also have been in favor of keeping last years kick returner Reed at an inflated salary when his replacement Berrios is leading the league in punt returns. Meyers is has hit on 80% of his FG's this season, not counting for his two from 30 and 51 tonight. Fickens entered this game completing 70%, and we're glad that we even found a guy who can do that because we were in an even worse position before finding him. And 3 extra points which is a lot. At least one of those as I recall wasn't his fault it was a bad snap. He deserves to come back although there probably will be a PK competition in training camp. I dont know what the hoopla is about with a kicker who's hitting 74% of his 23 kicks and is ranked 30th in the league in percentage. There is only 9 kickers with a lower percentage than Ficken, and 3 of them havent even kicked double digit field goal attempts. Compare that to only 4 kickers of the 29 kickers ahead of him who have kicked less than 10 attempts. He is literally a bottom 6 to bottom 10 kicker in the entire league. This is just crazy.
