FlagmanL11
Just looking for something to draw readers in. It's easy to speculate on moves, but at the end of day you need to see what the overall market looks like before saying who stays and who goes. Joe D gets to step up to the plate this off season and we will see if he is able to fill the holes. So far he has done a good job at acquiring some depth guys. Adams, Bell and Anderson all stay IMO unless Anderson get a ridiculous deal elsewhere.

Dunnie
You should be careful when stereotyping because not everyone fits your perceptions. I know some folks "over 50" who happen to be VERY tech savvy, while I know others under 50 who can barely navigate their way around on a computer or even... dare I say it... a smartphone.BingoSent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

At those numbers, you have to start looking past both players. Cimini says Joe Douglas wanted a first and two seconds for Adams, and if someone wants to pony that up, that's hard to pass up. Fans want JD to fix this team thru the draft. Me too. Realistically, how many rookies can we really expect to make an impact in their first year? Cashman and Austin were nice finds from Mac last year, but that's not the norm. After the third round, you're drafting special teamers and developmental guys. Jets have a first, second and two thirds coming up. Big, big difference between that and two firsts, three seconds, and two thirds. I recognize that Jamal is a great player, but Rontez Miles could step right in and do most of what Adams does, and those three high picks could really help fix the OL, WRs, and pass rush. He also has the best case scenario in a Bell trade being a fourth round pick, and that would be with the Jets agreeing to eat a chunk of that contract. I'm sure JD will shop him, but he could easily decide that they're better off keeping him for the year. This thread already has a "Boomers vs Millennials" argument but now you want to add "#MeToo" into the mix?!
TuscanyTile2
I think there's so much wrong with the Boomers/Millennials argument from both sides. Personally, I think we're all being screwed over and the wool has been pulled over our collective eyes, regardless of whether you're a Boomer/Millennial/Gen X/etc. Having groups of regular people pointing the finger at each other is part of the problem.

Living off the land is great until some group of marauders comes and takes everything from you. Most people that think like that own guns too, I know people that have mini arsenals expecting the breakdown of society anyday now. tbh, with 21T in fed debt, countless more in unfunded liabilities and non fed public debt + personal and college debt out the wazoo, something has to give at some point. I don't think they are entirely off base. I think like 8% of fed budget is paying interest on debt right now, that will only keep going up leaving less and less money for government services. I've never so much as held a gun but I've been considering getting one and am certainly glad I don't live in a major city where something as small as a several day interrruption of supply chain could create massive civil unrest. If (when) a real left leaner looks like they are getting in WH I'll probably get licensed and pick up a few as I imagine that right will be stripped at some point. Right now I'm more doing things like making sure I have continually access to water (getting a hand pump for well) and stocking up on some non perishables. Better safe than sorry imo.

The oldest Millennials were in their early 20's when the Afghanistan and Iraq wars started. Before you rant and rave about how soft we are, maybe you should get your facts straight. We took the brunt of the casualties in these wars. And the Boomers took the brunt of the casualties in the Vietnam War, the war in which casualties were like 10X the amount in Iraq/Afghanistan..combined. I'm a Boomer that is still active in the US Navy and serve along with the Millennials to this day. The military Millennials aren't soft, which is probably why they 'volunteered' for service. Bringing military service into this discussion was pretty stupid to begin with, but both Boomers and Millennials have served in LONG ASS wars is all I'm trying to say lol.
