Ryan Tannehill REGRESSED under the FRAUD and now look like a franchise QB

poorly.  How did Gase develop him?  How did Gase get the most from top 10 WR, Devante Parker?  How did Gase utilize Drake's talents?  How did Gesicki come along with Gase?  How did they ALL do within one season of being free from Gase?

Now those are facts.  Not feelings.

Last time the Dolphins with a healthy Tannehill under Gase played the Pats, the Dolphins won the game.

Agree that the Jets' 2019 offense was often underwhelming. That happens with 2 and 3 QBs and patchwork OLs.  Not giving Gase coach of the year, and at times the playcalling was odd. And at times Darnold looked lousy. But he was running for his life most afternoons. And that again comes back to an OL that was inexplicably neglected since, if you could put a date on it,  the day Mike Tannenbaum left.

Technically, those aren’t “facts.” Those are questions.

I meant the answers to those questions would be facts.  Those would be undeniable data.  And it couldn't possibly give Gase a worse look.  I actually admire your optimism.  I wish you had some logic to support it though.  I would like to be there too, but my eyes show me otherwise right now.  Help would be appreciated.  I don't want to go through 8 months of debating the pros and cons of one Adam Gase.  It's going to be Hell around here with that.

I never wanted Gase and my post history shows that. I wanted McCarthy or Rhule from the beginning. But with everyone on IR and losing our QB for 5 weeks I will give him credit for getting the team to 7-9. which is where I thought they would be at full strength before the season

My last post did not included his recent stint with the Jets.  I responded to your post that Tanny put up decent number.  He was much better before the fraud got to Miami and he is much better under different coach now. Just saying, NO?

Gase is an overrated sack of sh*t. Peyton put him on the map of offensive gurus. For instance on a 3rd and 2 yesterday, he puts Bell in the wildcat formation behind the worst interior run blocking oline in football. Its a dead give away to any defense to what is coming, a lone back no fullback to lead him. Maybe the dumbest call all year. You remember that? Yes he lost yardage and we had to punt. Horrible predictable, setting Bell up to fail call. A guru could get us 2 fvkin yds you'd think.

Gase is a charlatan. Chris Johnson is a DUPE

I think peyton Mannings success in Denver had more to do with Denver's defense then Adam Gase I agree the Gase was nothing more then a coffee boy for Manning. Manning called most of the plays Gase was more like Loggains just had the title but didn't call the plays. If you want to look at Gase only example of developing a rookie QB Brock Osweiler is the true legacy of Adam Gase. I still think if Denver didn't have the defense they had with Manning Denver doesnt make the superbowl and Gase out of the NFL. People are praising Gase 6-2 record most of it is because of Greg Williams defense and the fact they beat up on weak teams I hardly call the Steelers 3rd string QB a threat if they had a healthy Rosenberger doubt the Jets even stay in that game beating Matt Barkley please! The Cowboys Jason Garret is as bad as Gase. The rest of the teams they beat are pick ahead of them. If anybody think this is a accomplishment they really need to replay the games and look how bad the blocking schemes and the regression of Darnold and how misused and underused Bell was. Sad thing Gase will be fired in 2 years Darnold will be playing somewhere else and pulling a Tannehill and Jets will be picking another QB. I figure after 40 plus years of picking bad coaches Jets fans would wise up.

Some people are just clueless and very argumentative.

By the time the Jets were out of contention at 1-7, the FRAUD figured out how to block a free defender coming at Darnold face on almost every single passing play.

WE ALL KNEW THAT DARNOLDS WAS LETHAL MOVING OUT OF POCKET TO HIS RIGHT. He is so hardheaed my way or the hard way that he never bother to wacht Darnolds's tape from last year especially his last five games.   It took Darnolds seeing ghost to finally have some sense and had Darnolds input into the offense.

How many freaking time Payton change the play atlos?  He was his own coach at that time in his career and the FRAUD was mostly there to please Payton, bringing him coffee, positive reinforcement, etc.

Then, Bell could had been our Henry if our fraud would had watched his old Pitts tape.  He do not know how to utilize one of the most electrifying player in the NFL.  Heck it took Darnolds seeing ghost finally confronting him that he had enough of his bs playcalling and to implement what make him confortable that is how he got a little better.  That sideline confrontation between the fraud and Darnolds is all we need to see.

Just wondering - how is our O-line compared to the Titans? Wonder if that has anything to do with it. Tannehill was sitting there in the pocket all day whenever I was watching the Titans. Sam was constantly running for his life. Derrick Henry is a beast with holes to run through. Bell has none. Hmmm. Ah, the hell with it. Let's just act like they are the same situations and kill the coach and QB.

Let me give it a shot.

<takes a deep breath>

Adam Gase was 13-11 in Miami when Tannehill started.

How’d I do?

In 5 of those 13 wins under Gase, he had a worse AY/A than his worst win on Tenn. Not a good look for Gase's guruness.
He played better in a loss for Tenn than he did in 11 of the wins he had under Gase. Not a good look for Gase's guruness.
He had more games where he was below average AY/A than he was above average AY/A under Gase. Not a good look for Gase's guruness.

FYI if I were to expand this to include Tannehill's time with Philbin, the numbers get even worse for Gase.

I hear you, my brother. Just to clarify my position on Gase, it’s this: He’s probably not a good coach and he’s probably not going to be here long, but he’s here now and he’s in the process of douching this hellhole organization and roster. If he gets fired at the Bye next season, he’ll have left the job a little better than when he found it. Think of him as an interim efficiency expert who’s here to pull a Mary Poppins on this godforsaken franchise before handing it over to the full-time coach.

Mariota somehow didn't do nearly as well?

Henry was out week 16, Tannehill had a 133 QB rating with 3 TD passes and 0 INTs.

That team wasn't winning until Tannehill came in.

Week 16 was a completely meaningless game, he thrives in those situations.  When he was playing for the division title a week earlier how did he do?

Henry took off once tannehill became the starter, was that because of tannehill?

Tannehill managed the offense effectively something that bust Mariota couldn’t

Not a single person who knows anything about football.  Tannehill is a FA I believe after this year, he won't even draw major interest.

I'm still not sold on my Gase as an offensive coach but as a HC he got this battered team to 7 wins, that's damn impressive.

A great feat considering all the injuries, bad OL,weak WR group and probably the worst play calling in the NFL.

You have to crawl before you can walk.  We've been really bad for a long time, completely beaten down mentally yet at 1-7 with fans, the media saying Gase should be fired (it was actually before 1-7) he rallied his team to compete.  Imagine what a relatively healthy roster could have done?
