My understanding is that they're still under investigation.  They admitted to not following procedure and not informing the NFL and Bengals they'd be filming, although they got approval from the Browns.  I actually think their quick admission is an attempt to prevent a deeper investigation....to perhaps finding a link between Kraft's production company and the football operations.  "Oops...we made a mistake.  We admit it. Fine us," could be an effort to stop the league from digging around and finding out this was directed by Belichick or someone else in the org.  But hey, that's just me!

Tom Bradys comp % his last 8 games:

54, 55, 78, 51, 52, 51, 45, 55

This on a team that is all about the short passing game.

Bellichick will toss him for sure if Belly stays.

This quick exit releases McDaniels to now interview for other jobs.  Interestingly, he could be the first domino to fall here.  A departure by McDaniels immediately puts the focus on Belichick to replace him, to think about what kind of OC he wants for the QB he has (or doesn't have), etc.  This could get messy quickly....or not.

Belichick has now lost his most recent game against each of his former assistants and players that are active head coaches -- Vrabel, Miami's Brian Flores (2019, Week 17), Houston's Bill O'Brien (2019, Week 13) and Detroit's Matt Patricia (2018, Week 3).

The Patriots have lost it.  It's over.  Gronk walked away at the right time.  Who would have ever thought he'd look like the genius in all this after retiring following a Super Bowl victory.

Gronkowski walking away is probably the reason Pats had to play today. With him, they get a 1st round bye.

The difference between Darnold and Allen are night and day. Darnold is an excellent up and coming QB. Josh Allen sucks but he's coached in such a manner to look good, just like Sanchez was in his first couple years. The Bills also have a MUCH better roster. The Jets have one of the most untalented rosters in football. Those are the differences. If Douglas is as good as people claim, then what I just posted should be on full display sooner than later.

Allen is a better/tougher runner as a QB.  That's about all he has over Darnold.  I wouldn't trade Sam's accuracy and ability to throw the full route-tree for Allen's legs and the fact he can throw the ball about 5-7 yards deeper.
