Popular Post Jet_Engine1
Were all complete garbage yesterday. But all 3 teams have above average O Lines, have a good CB1, and can rush the QB. Oh, and the Pat's cheat, that too. LOL. Aside from the Ravens, the AFC is wide open. (KC defense is Trash). Do it, Joe. Fix the O line, and dont even consider a DL for at least 5 years. 6

Bugg
Think the Chiefs can score on the Ravens. And by that I mean score enough to overcome a shaky defense..

Just a thought.
ASH1962
If we scored 21 against BAL, the Chiefs can surely score against them. Remember, we suck.

Jets723
OL is the top priority. Yes I agree outside of Watson the QB’s struggled. However Allen looks the worst despite the tons of time his OL gave him

Get Jeudy or Lamb in Round 1 for the Jets....the go OLine in Round 2 and at least one of the 3rd round picks.

Much much more important keeping Gregg Williams happy and paid what he is worth ie a lot, than whoever the personnel happen to be on that D-line. What you just witnessed this year was about a $2Mill DL, in total, playing better than the idiotic usual $30Mill+ invested in a DL that can’t rush the passer. So just keep loading up the Offense as much as possible. The only look the D should get in the near future is a roll of the dice here and there for a Pass Rusher and CB.

That's always been a viable approach to winning football games, however THIS Jets team, as it is currently made up, does not need to lean so heavily on ground and pound. In 2009 and 2010 the ground and pound was our only option because Sanchez was such a terrible QB. Now we have Darnold and he is a much more capable QB. So if we were ever to be a ground and pound team again we wouldn't need it as much, we'd have more versatility with our game plans to pass more often. It's still an excellent approach and I would gladly see the Jets built that way. Just saying with a better QB we have more strategies to use.
