Brady is toast, so why would they want him back? That leaves McD to hold the fort down, and fail.

I've always thought that Brady would retire or go play for LA, Belichick would go on to become the GM/HC of the Giants and McDaniels would succeed him as Pats HC.....

All 3 IMO. The fact is, McDaniel and Bellichick are useless without Brady. They MUST have Brady to have any chance next season. Bellucci stays because Kraft persuaded him to stay. McDaniel is desperate to coach the patsies so he stays regardless. Kraft gets Brady to stay as well.

They in turn radically alter the offense and add a lot of weapons. So everybody thinks they're back?

They just didn't calculate that Brady is a geriatric that can't play football to save his life anymore. Because Brady can't follow through the patsies go down in a ball of flames. Regarded by most as the biggest hoax (them being back as the patsies of old), even bigger than anything politics can generate.

Robert Kraft loses his mind and is admitted to a mental institution. 

Bill Belechick loses it on the sidelines and punches a referee, he is suspended and banned from the NFL. 

Tom Brady hurts his shoulder and his arm goes limp and cant throw the ball anymore.

I can't really see Belichick staying in NE without either signing/drafting a top QB or retaining Brady, of he thinks he can possibly do it another year or two. He knew what he was doing with Garapolo, he's not in that position now with Stidham, to say the least. Brady is by far his best option on the roster.

They are all coming back for one more run and there's no way they're leaving it the way they just did. Unfortunately after the last Super Bowl is when they all should have just packed it in. Now they have egg on their face.

There's two ways this would go if Brady, BB, and McDaniels come back for one final run....

1. They win the SB and go out in a blaze or glory following a truly epic level of cheating that helps that carry that dinosaur Brady to one more Lombardi Trophy

or

2. They not only wish they packed it in after the SB win over the Rams, but they now see this year's Wild Card appearance as a highlight when they finish 3rd in the Division behind the Jets and Bills.
