We have a group of neighbors and friends and every year one of us hosts a superbowl party. Everyone's kids and friends pop in. My turn this year. Do you have any idea how immensely happy I am that neither I nor my guests must endure the horror of the cheats in another one? In my house no less!! What did he do to get fired this year? He took a team that was 4-12 last year and improved to 7-9. The team had a ton of injuries and a sick QB. The team went 6-2 in the 2nd half and their 22year old QB had the 10th highest QB rating in the 2nd half of the season.

Irrelevant to the Jets. Apparently, where is all the good news for the JETS in this offseason so far? The good news is the Jets went 6-2 in the second half of the season, which was the 2nd best record in the NFL. Their young QB had the 10th best QB rating in the NFL over the final 8 games of the season and they have one if the best defensive coordinators in the NFL. Also New England is showing signs of falling back to the pack. There is a lot to be hopeful for.
T0mShane
What I most like is that neither the GM nor the coach is even pretending that the existing roster was/is passable and they have no responsibility to defend or promote any one player on it because they didn’t bring 98% of these slugs in.

Yep. Still absolutely blows my mind that anyone has the ballsack to criticize Gase or Douglas for the on field product this season. Can you imagine starting a job at your local diner as a grill cook, and getting fired because the cook before you didnt order any hamburgers, let the buns go moldy, and burnt all the steaks?

I'm just completely sick of pathetic Jets Fans who think OTHER teams wins somehow belong to us. It's sad. Truly, and deeply, sad. It's what losers do. The "we went 6-2" ignoring we played mostly the worst teams in the NFL (worse than us), and that it is EXACTLY the same bullpoo we heard at the end of 2018! It's irrelevant, there is no carryover in the NFL. Demand better. Don't praise failure.
