Popular Post Green DNA
Is that tickets sold or the number of people that go through the turnstiles? The eyes don't lie, there were a bunch of empty seats at most of the Jets games. Then again, from the looks of things on tv, there are a bunch of empty seats in every stadium.

I have had NFL ticket for the past 3 seasons and I have noticed more and more empty seats in stadiums across the entire league. Honestly, the NFL experience is just a lot better at home. 2

I had season tickets for nearly 40 years before I gave them up... the cost of going to the game is just not worth it anymore. I loved when you could get 2 tickets and 8 beers and parking for $100. (Parking $10, tickets lower bowl $25 each, and beers $5 a piece). Now I feel like I'd be lucky to get that under $500 which after the 1.5 hour drive each way is pointless when you have a 72" 4k tv with surround sound and invite your friends over for a much better experience, when they are even worth to watch. Would I love to still go to games, yes, they are just not worth the price of admission anymore.

CrazyCarl40
In 2019, the Jets are 19th in terms of attendance percentage at home and were dead last on the road (play bad teams as a bad team and no one shows up!). Overall 27th in attendance percentage. Giants were 28th. http://www.espn.com/nfl/attendance

I dont think I want to do it more than once a season but it was alot of fun. It was too damn expensive though, it shouldn't cost 10 buck for anything at the game...stupid bastards.. IndianaJet
These numbers are clearly fudged by the Jets. If you check the game by game attendance figures you'll see that all home Jets games have official attendance listed at 78,523. Multiply that by 8 and you get the 628,184 total which places us second. Clearly, exactly 78,523 did not walk through the turnstiles at every home game. In addition, I also find it hard to believe that exactly 78,523 tickets were sold for every game. So in other words, these attendance figures are completely unreliable. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2019/attendance.htm
